New coach for the next season?

2208115_w2.jpg

Strong character and personality, doesn't take no shit from anyone.
Very good tactician. His Sampdoria are 5 points off the 2nd place as things stand at this point of the season.

We need a coach with big balls. Someone who would shake things up at Milanello.

I find it hard to believe Miha would work under Berlusconi and Galliani, but SKY and other media in Italy are reporting that hes the favorite at the moment.

+ for a very strong scarf game

Every week a new coach is mentioned as the favorite for the summer. First it was Montella, then Conte, then Sarri and now this guy. The media has no idea what is going on honestly

Con l'ex tecnico della Sampdoria anche Silvio e Pier Silvio Berlusconi, Galliani e l'ufficio stampa del Milan

He was raised in Borovo Naselje, into a working-class family of a Serb father from Bosnia, and a Croat mother. True Yugoslave!

Sinisa played at good teams like Vojvodina, Red Star Belgrade, Roma, Sampdoria and Lazio. After that he joined Inter and his career became very unlikeable for normal people.

He wont last 5 minutes. He will also be given a fraction of the money Carlo would have been given if any of that was true.

Welcome Miha!

Very unusual appointment for B&G.. the complete opposite of yes man and a guy who's never been at Milanello at doesn't know the environment. Very strong character who demands discipline and respect with players and is not a ''friend of theirs''. He will demand signings.
There will be tears at the training ground. A change of mentality is needed, all the best.

Tears at the training ground. A change of mentality. And a win % of 40.

Yeah, let's pretend like there's no correlation between coaching poor sides fighting to stay in Serie A and win %

Translation
I might even die of hunger but always have respect for the teams where I've been, where I've coached and of course it would be hard to refuse an offer to coach Milan, but let's be clear, it will never be offered to me this opportunity, but IF it happened [I was offered to coach AC Milan] I wouldn't be able to coach there because I've been four years at Inter and I'm an interista

I think he's a good coach, and most of the times, he sounded like a straight arrow no-bs type of person, but I'm curious how he'll explain this statement.
In the face of Berlusconi that says that Milan should be coached by Milanisti...

On the other hand, he's in the same school of the various Mourinho, Simeone, etc that puts a lot of emphasis on physicality, tough defense and dead ball situations to win games, and considering the disappointment on the type of game that Allegri played, I doubt that a lot of RnB-ers will be crazy about his game style. Obviously he's a much better solution than Inzaghi.

We could use some Yugoslavic power in Milan.

its this false alphaness i hate about sinisa. he always did it as a player, there were a lot of defenders back in the 90s and 00s who lived up to their tough guy image. the idea that he's gonna roll in here and shout at everyone till they do what he wants is absurd. Im a teacher, I can tell you first hand it doesn't work like that. Carlo didn't need to do it, most of the great managers didn't.

He has coached Catania, just like Simeone and Montella. I think all of them grew there, as coaches.

But I'm not sure he did a fine job anywhere.

He's open for double pivot systems, which is a good thing because if we're gonna continue with Bolis and Noces in the midfield and keep our trillion CAMs/wingers then that's our only chance for a Top 3 or 5 spot.

He has balls and is hot-headed, but the same applies to Gattuso. I'm not convinced at all that he's the guy to solve our fitness/workrate issues.

I think he's very similar to Seedorf.
I hope he doesn't piss off Silvio already in his first month.
