I once had the same weekend like yours and watched movies below:
- Casino
- Goodfellas
- Natural Born Killer
- Kill Bill series
- Reservoir Dogs
- Cape Fear
- Irreversible (only to watch Monica Belucci naked)

On the following Monday morning, after thoroughly brainwashed, I felt like hurting someone... LOL

hahaha I know what you mean. I felt so tough after watching Casino. BTW Goodfellas is my all time favorite movies. Masterpiece.

'Hitch' was great, funny and so true. I liked the beginning of the movie, particularly where he talks about certain facts/behaviours :D

Shawshank is probably up there with my top 3 movies. That is a greta movie. And it's amazing because when you think of it, not much happens.

So true, It is a simple storyline that is complemented by numerous intricascies. Movies like that are always great. The Godfather is also a classic ;)

I'm maybe one of the few people in the world who has never seen a single Star Wars , Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter movies...because I don't find this type of movies interesting.
You're not the only one.Sometimes I feel sick of Very Impossible Science Fiction movies. We need something relaxing, sometimes :)

For me the best movie I ever saw was "the Gods Must Be Crazy" part I & II...a hilarious comedy about bushmen in the Kalahari...
That movies are simply hilarious. And I still feel like to play "Encino Man" again and again.

The last time I watched movie was last week at my male friend's house.Being such a good host he tried his best to impress me with his new recipe, didn't let me lend a hand.
So I just enjoyed the movie,it was "Upside of Anger".Gosh...it was gorgeous film ,with great story and beautiful casts.
We couldn't take our eyes off the screen, since there's a pure babe called Keri Russell.
And when We laughed loud at some "adult" facts,we're shocked by explosion from the kitchen. The foods were smashed and stuck at the oven ceiling while the plate's glass' shattered in to pieces.
Nevertheless, nice movie with memorable accident :)

Shawshank was character rather than plot driven; I love films like that.

The Idea in the movie is original abd good, but the script & the directing is very bad. with the right directer it could have been a great movie.

The last movie I watch at the cinema was Napola - Elite für den Führer.

The movie is about the dilemma and choices of some German teenagers who attend Napola - a special institution for gifted boys to turn them into the Nazi elite.

Someone behind me was actually laughing out loud in one of the scene when one of the Napola boys got blown off during the grenade throwing session .Sick bastard!

bill murray puts in a stunning performance as Steve Zissou, the legendary oceonagrapher. modern day classic.

Scientist: [regarding the shark Zissou is hunting] What would be the scientific purpose of killing it?
Steve Zissou: Revenge.

Ya man I loved that movie. It wasn't as good at royal tennenbaums but its still a sick movie. My favorite part was when they forget the dog on the island and steve yells "We gotta go back!" and no one does anything. lol, and the black guy who sings david bowie songs in portugese throughout the whole movie.

I have a lot of favorite movies, but one I really recommend is Remember the Titans. The story is just amazing and it's something that you'll always remember because you can still see it (racial differences) everywhere.

Others include the Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars.

Haven't seen any movies in the cinema that are considered 'amazing'. I do want to see the Da Vinci Code (which will be released next year) since I read the book. Should be very different tho.

i think it was quite worth it, better than watching DVD.. because of the cinema effects... but the plot was far too short for my liking!

Yeah while people are screaming, your gf would hug you tenderly...to release the phobia about horror. :D

I love that film too. Something I can't forget was when Robert DeNiro plays around at small room to show off his gun's acting infront of mirror and speaks to himself, "You talkin' to me ?" Nice one. ;)

I generally dont liek scary movies because of their sheer stupidness, and because I get hella scared. Movies like the Sixth sense are good because some thought was actually put into te production of it.

This one however is based on a true story and looks really insane. It also deals with something that I can't say I don't beleive in. I went to a Jesuit school and a priest that I regard very highly told us the story of when he met the man who performed the exorcism on the boy (it actually was a boy) that "The Exorcist" was based on. He said that some of the shit in the movie was exageratted, but for the most part, it was true. He spent the hour telling us, we were hanging on his every word. It was quite amazing.

Back to this movie thats coming out, in the trailor, they play actual sound recordings of this particular exorcism. It's pretty insane.
