First 20 mins we controlled the game, marvelous goal from Pirlo. Then dumb ball loss by Serginho which normaly would have lead to the 1-1, but fortunately didn't. Alas, an unstopable goal by that Uruguayan player, forgot his name, Dida couldn't do anything. From then on it was always more closer to become 2-1, pressing from Benfica till the end. We're going to suffer in the second half.

Worst Milan player so far : Serginho, Gilardino is lonely in front and doesn't get a useable ball, I don't think replacing him with Ronaldo will change that, in fact it could worsen things as Ronaldo isn't moving around as much as Gila does.

I would bring in Gourcuff for Seedorf (if the latter is injured) or for Brocchi in the beginning of the second half, but hey I'm not Carletto.

1st Half notes
Seedorf really not playing well, injury over the weekend may still be bothering him. Kaka is better than sunday, but still missing that final pass or shot we're accustomed to him finding. Pirlo seems to be man of the half for us, finding passes, and a delicious outside shot.

In defense Serginho is killing us. All of their attacks have come from his side. Either Gattuso is not doing a good job covering, or Serginho is fucking up assignments. We may see Favailla come on as a defensive substitution.

Yeah, that was quite harsh. Really hope he does come in soon. Its not like Gattuso and Clarence have been playing well anyway. I'd bring Gourcuff on for one of them.

I think that any result that we get if the result means at least 1 point for us, we are qualified. If we lose, but Celtic wins, we are qualified too.

I think its both of them really. Rino hasn't started the season well ... I'd even say Brocchi had a better half.

i think he thought brocchi was hurt, so he told gourcuff to start warming up. there was nothing cruel about it, brocchi was struggling for a little while, but then was fine enough to continue.

pirlo man of the half for us, serginho, we know his skill going forward, but we also know his weakness defending, which is coming through this game. i hope gourcuff come on soon.
