Fassone: "It's one of the most heartfelt decisions we have taken since we've been here and he [Gattuso] has done an extraordinary job. With Rino we can really have an important project on the long run."
Gattuso: "Without Fassone and Mirabelli I would not be here. I was given this opportunity and I am happy to coach a glorious team like Milan. I thank my players and my staff. I hope to bring Milan back to the top soon."
Losing 5 - 1 to that Arsenal team and still sitting clearly outside the top 4 can't seriously be considered 'extraordinary'.
Rino would have suffered the same fate as Montella - if he had this group from day 1. It's been 5 years since we last finished in the top 4. That's fucking extraordinary! for all the wrong reasons.
I've always been a fan of Rino. Interesting to read posts from guys that were quick to negatively judge his arrival and now riding his dik. This management still has much to prove.
