why the hell would they decimate the club? how in the world would they make their money back? selling players doesn't arrive at that amount.

The club has other assets.

Like others have pointed out, there’s a reason these funds are called vulture funds. Use common sense.

It’s a lot easier to sell a few high performing players than to sell the whole club.

well what are those other assets that can raise half a billion dollars? They don't own a stadium. It seems you are focusing on the word vulture and its negative connotation.

Selling the players? I dont think you fully understand the psychology here... they will sell the trophies at Casa Milan to get their investment back

Debts were cleared with the sale and revenue has increased...

there was no reported loss...

again, doesn't take a genius to realize what will happen here

Revenue has increased? Where?

And why were cash injections necessary if the club is financially stable?

There won't be a next owner, even our current one can't find people to invest in the club.

Vulture funds don't operate that way anyway.

So what are you guys saying? we could end up with NO milan?

Training grounds, offices, pretty much anything would be for sale.

Again, this is what vulture funds do. They don’t have buyers lining up to get the club.

Spaletti told Sky they are unable to redeem Cancelo and Rafinha due to finances.

Amazing.

No.

The club would be stripped of its most prized assets like good players, training rounds, etc, and then sold to someone for pennies. They’d basically be buying a club filled with primavera players.

If our past mattered, buyers would be lining up.

sponsorship increased, tickets sales increased, etc.

iirc the cash injections had to do with the debt/refinancing

Where have sponsorships increased? We went from Addidas to Puma for considerably less money.

ok so players, a training ground, a 5 story office building in Casa Milan. That's not going reach 500m. So what does the next guy that buys the club have to work with? Nothing? Your idea doesn't add up. Your theory works for something that is getting liquidated and will no longer exist.

If they were smart they would take a loan from Elliott to redeem those two.

Of course Elliott might end up owning inter by the end of 2019.

Ok, let me put it in very simple terms for you guys:

Vulture funds didn't get their name because they have buyers lined up for their assets. They got their name because they take their assets apart for quick sales.

I still haven't seen anything that says otherwise.

Numbers were released and Puma gave us less.

Got proof for otherwise?

the numbers/info released indicated an increase

there were also other sponsors

OK but selling off pieces isn't going to get their investment plus whatever added profit they are looking to make.

Milan's new deal with Puma is not expected to be as lucrative. It will reportedly bring in €12m a year, compared to the €20m of the adidas partnership.

He's so hung up on the term "vulture fund".

I started out listening to him because it seemed like he knew what he was talking about.. Now i'm just getting the idea that he's only arguing because he thinks he knows what "vulture fund" means

Amazing.

They'll just go back to their respective clubs and Inter will get them for a cheaper price if that's where the players want to be. Just like Villarreal is going to do with us for Bacca. Just like Galliani did for years. Just strategy.

Steven, it is not in their interest to knock down the value of the brand. They want to keep the valuation high and sell it as a whole. This is still a globally recognized brand and not some failed, bankrupt company that gets sold piecemeal for scraps

You may not like what stevan is saying, but he didn't attack you personally. Stick to the issue, or agree to disagree. We are all fans of Milan who have different ways of dealing with what's going on. I also don't believe in this queue of buyers lining up. I also fear Elliot. Gravely.

The bottom line > the club needs to get shot of Elliot. Li needs to enter into an exit strategy or Lord Silvio needs to appear and bail him out, in turn saving the club. Then we can be re-sold.

There's nothing to fear about Elliott. If anything they gave the club a nice out clause from Li and his uncertainties. He can't pay up, they'll take the club and sell it to someone who wants it and in turn profit from it. That's about all Elliott is going to do.

Of course, but realistically they don't care how a club operates as long as they can turn a profit. And the club won't be turning profits by simply operating. No one buys football clubs to make money.

I can't believe there's people here that think turning the ownership to Elliot would be a good thing.

Ya, no. Doesn't work like that. Neither needs to sell cheap
