Krunic could play in Kessie's place from the start against Torino [Sky]

Finally. I had hoped for Krunic to bench Kessie from matchday 1, but better late than never.

Bona? Maybe in 2015.
I didn't think he fully recovered physically from the pulled hamstring in 2017.
I can't imagine how he's like now, at 30, after a knee surgery.

We aren’t really flush with amazing forward options at the moment. Who can do a better job than Piatek in that role is the only question.

Someone like Petagna during the winter window is starting to make sense now.

Petagna?
Nah, not nearly good enough, other than as backup for Piatek.

The faux-9 or fluid front 3 route makes no sense with what we have. Not only do we lack the faux-9 or versatile CF - we don't even have goal scoring wing-forwards. So basically we have none of the ingredients.

I think it's time Giampaolo becomes pragmatic and switches back to a conventional 4-3-3 with a natural role for Piatek. We have better LW, midfield and LB options than last year.

Giampaolo didnt get fired after last derby

I have feeling management intend to keep him for long time. So getting draw at torino will be best result for us

Why not Leao in Piateks place, isn't he supposed to be his sub anyhow?

Signing Petagna feels kind of regressive and a bit like settling for EL football for the foreseeable future. You think he is an impact signing we need for the attack?

The discussion started when Goodfella mentioned he doesn't think Leao can do the 'Quags job' either of dropping deep, making defences lose their shape, utilizing the ball in deeper positions etc. (which Piatek has been failing miserably to do).

With our budget and the type of forwards we can target in the league whom I've seen do those things, Petagna is the first name that I could think of.

Medical examination has excluded the presence of any muscular lesion for Paqueta. He'll continue his treatment in order to return at the coach's disposal.

According to Mediaset Jack might start in place for Hakan this game.

Funny how many times I've been depressed by Jack but now he's this new and exciting player I can't wait to see. Oh well. He's always been able to make things happen.

Let him do 60, Paqueta/Krunic/Hakan can come on as subs when we're in the lead.
