he could run away with 100M€ losses in the beginning and swallow it (the silvio guarantee) but he decided to go all in

sometimes , it's better to pull out early before getting trapped ;)

Li's only option was refinancing with someone else, but that just would have prolonged his agony and cut him off at the knees. Nothing was going to get better. If potential buyers wanted to be cut throat, they could just offer him way less than what he wants or wait for him to lose it eventually. I would guess people are open to buying now is because there would probably be a long line of people waiting to buy it from Elliott.

he can't because Elliott has the club as collateral so he can't devalue the club!! We are lucky !!

this guy is a famous conman...MR was conned by an amateur

You aren't getting it. Li is looking to sell. Mr. makes his payments decided not to pay essential money needed to run the day to day of the club. It's not going to get to that point in 2 weeks.
