One prediction doesn't have him, one doesn't have Musacchio. Wouldn't mind one of them getting a rest.

Tbh, as long as Silva starts, I don't mind whether it's Kalinic or Suso.

Is Suso always included with the strikers with the called up players?

You should. Complementary striking talents is a good thing. Having a lineup of players that do the same thing (roughly) might cause trouble

Think of the strike pairing of the past...and it's only when the strikers were both legitimatley world class could you get away with it ...like MSN or Sheva-Crespo

Otherwise it was

ADP/iBra- Trezuget - with Trez doing the off the ball running and finishing scraps iBra or ADP did the creation.
Yorke - Cole - Cole running at defenders and Yorke attacking aerial balls.
Raul-Morientes (see above)
CR7 - Benz

And so on.

You'd notice that two very similar strikers deployed up front would hardly ever work for long...I can't for the life of me think of two ball-to-feet forwards making a name for themselves in a tandem. Neither would two poachers for that matter.....Maybe R9-Vieri but they were both multi-dimensional world class forwards who could adapt to different roles....hardly both poachers.

Think of the great poachers of the past: Inzaghi, RVN, Trez...or even lower tier poachers like Pazzo and Huntelaar. They're almost never played up front with other poachers.

Kali should be starting all the games from here on in. He's our main CF... and when he isn't scoring he can help the team in other aspects of the game.

Silva Suso and Cutrone will get plenty of opportunities as the season progresses.
SPAL was a staple piece of the 1960s Calcio scene you ignorant mongoloids.
I wish I could have a beer with you irl. You have an amazing sense of humor. (no homo obviously)

imo the 3-4-2-1 is a montella's solution for Suso only.
but yeah, I won't mind if Montella want to test this new formation.

+Bonaventura. It´s a good reason as well, because they are good players.
Maybe 3-4-2-1 could offer a solution for resting Kessie too.

Locatelli get a start maybe?
Sampdoria Sunday and Europe League the following Thursday.
Rotation is required.

It´s obviously a loss in quality but we could try Locatelli-Mauri in a 3-4-2-1. Let them both sit back and give most of the attacking work to Hakan-Suso.

I predicted a 1-0 yesterday, but now I feel confident that we will win by 3 or 4 goals today.

Silva, Silva, Rodriguez, and maybe Silva again.

Silva should be our main CF instead of Kalinic.
He has all the tools to become our next WC striker.

I like everything about that lineup other than Abate, but Montella does not have much of a choice there.

Except Abate and Zapata it's probably our best starting XI.
Really like this line-up. We will destroy Spal.

It´s probably not unlikely that Musacchio will be subbed off for Romagnoli in the second half, in EL they shared the minutes too. Could be a plan to limit them to 130-140 minutes a week.

Zapata seems to be the clear winner of the race for 4th choice CB so far.

We need to destroy SPAL today.
Zapata is a clown. but I don't mind playing him to rest Bonucci or Romagnoli.
I think Calabria should start ... just to boost his confidence with another good performance.
