I was thinking of this last night while watching the Inda game, when a corner was inaccurately judged in favor of Inda and I was thinking, if this leads to a goal, will they check if the corner call was correct or not?
VAR is too random.
I don't think they check for that. However, if a player crosses a ball that was out of bounds and a player scores - they do check that, as well as penalty calls and offside.
They would not check for a free-kick unless not calling the free-kick leads directly to a goal.
Weirdly enough, they also don't check for a second yellow card, although they do check if a yellow is a red and reds in general.
If you remember, Pellegrini had a clear 2nd yellow in the Roma-Milan game - to be fair, that shoudn't go to VAR since the referee should easily make that 2nd yellow call, given that it happened 5 metres in front of him.
