This is a weird question which leads to another question.
What happen if Sheva scores for his country and knock Italy out in future?
Are we going to kick Sheva out?
Of coz we wont, we milan will need talents that can knock out the Italian national team, and Serie A will need such foreign talents to improve their own local talents and games.

This gotta be the dumbest topic for looong time, "what should we do to JDT?"...We should be proud of our brilliant forward which loves Milan and never complains.

Whoever the morron which started this thread is, should really dissapear from the forums, people like you make me sick.

Honestly, I know some of you are gonna go mad on this, but I've been keeping it for myself and I think now is the time to share it ... To tell you the truth, the only thing Tomasson knows is how to stand in the front line, wait for either a pass or a shot from the back to be reflected from the keeper so that he can place into into the net
Don't start counting how many goals he scored this season 'cause I already know that ... They were 12 alright, but just take a look back at some of his goals:

Whatever! Tomasson knows where to be at the right place at the right time and that's useful for us, at the times when we're in lack of a real "goal-machine". Remember the problems AS Roma had in the end of this recent campain? One of the main problems was to make goals - and not even the wonderful striker Cassano could solute this problem, although he had a brilliant season! I'm NOT saying at any cost that Tomasson is a Golden-boy - In Denmark people actually prefer our 2nd striker Ebbe Sand over Tomasson, because he usually (and in some opinions "only") scores on the so-called "gifts" as you have referred to... ;)
But the fact is that we're all proud to be a part of the Milan club, which contains world-class players!!! :devil2:
So let's stand together and cheer for this team instead of contantly begging for a new transfer to come, because we never get satisfied enough with what we have... :head:
I'd rather want to keep these players, than to change Milan into a Roman "Chelski"/Real Madrid mall, filled with "pop-players", who can't stand together and fight as a real team should do!

Calm down, buddy...
I know you completely disagree with "Kyara", and that's ok, but please don't call him the dummest person who knows nothing about football just because he sees things from a different point of view than you do...
Just a little respect! ;)
By the way, welcome to the forum! Enjoy your stay here!

I don't believe I've done an IQ test for you, thank you very much :o And no I don't think it's weird that he "makes" goals everywhere he goes 'cause "everywhere he goes" is right opposite to the opponents' net

That's your opinion and I respect it, and as far as a goal machine is concerned I know that we have Sheva and Pippo, but now we need someone like Cassano in case any of those is injured, which seemed to be very likely recently ...

;) It does make me wonder on occasion why he saves the beauties for his matches in red-white + scores the run-of-the-mill stuff for the club that pays his salary but in the end a goal is a goal + if the ball rebounds off his butt... so what ? :D

Well when you're on a discussion board, you should expect to hear various opinions and arguments, and you can therefore, present your side of the discussion persuasively ... We might never agree at the end, but that's just a difference of opinions!

Pfft.

JDT is awsome. 12 goals from our back up player is a amazing effort. He has to attempt to get a game when he has the likes of Shevchenko, Inzaghi, Kaka and Rui in front of him in the pecking order. And much the time we only use 1 striker!

JDT is brillant. He isnt an overly special player yet he works hard has a very good football brain with fantasic positioning/anticipation goals.

Remember - 12 'gifts' is at the end of the day worth the same as 12 wonderful goals

Thats a good post. Other teams would kill to have a natural goal potcher like JDT.

And what if there are no gifts delievered?! What if the team is having a very bad match and is in need for a striker who can make a difference, who can create chances for himself as he possesses more techniques than just being in the right place? Those goals that I mentioned above were mostly scored in the matches when Milan won with a high score, such as 3-0 or 4-0 ... Whereas when the team is stuck in the opponent's tight defence, in my opinion, Tomasson's no where to be found ...
Modern football requires more than just standing at the front and waiting for service from the fellow midfielders ... Take Italy's match for example, where there was basically no real midfield to rely on, Cassano was going back himself and was able to snitch the ball and make some chances for himself ... The first goal came after his shot and the second goal was his, even with a poor performance he could shine, and that's the kind of performance we need ...

Tomasson is great, just leave him alone. ;)
He is like our super sub, and I don't care what everyone says but for a non-starter regular 12 goals in Italian league is a very good record. I'm pleased that he actually accepts to stay at Milan whilst being a substitute most of the time. Pfft.

Sure, sure Tomasson have no technique he can only score goals... And he doesn`t make a difference on the pitch  Tomasson is a team player and he works very hard everywhere on the pitch... Not just in the last 15 meters of the pitch... Unlike a lot of primadonnas who rarely if ever approach the midfield area... Being a team player also means you create space for the team and not only for yourself. I could go on about spirit and mentality as well... But maybe another time,

Tomasson is one of the most effective goalscorers in international football at the moment. Not the most spectacular (by far) but effective and dangerous in front of goal. Which is what counts...

And for the record just how many goals have Cassano scored, and how many matches has he played this season for Roma...

What should we do about him? We can't kick him out...I'm sure he wanted to make Denmark win and I'm sure he was waiting Italy to win too
...come on, we can't blame him for helping his country goin' through.

If Milan kicks a player out like that, a player that has done and given us so many goals(horrible on the line goals, good precise goals, good moment goals...a goal is a goal ya know and I don't care if it's the worst goal ever as long as it's made for my team) then nobody will ever want to play for us.

I'm proud of JDT...and of any Milan player left on Euro!

"I feel sorry for Italy. I like Italian football and would have loved to see them in the quarter finals," said Tomasson. "Swedish people won't like me for this but I think Denmark and Italy were the two best teams in the group."
- Tomasson.

Ahh, bless him!

I know I'm supposed to respect others and their opinions on this forum but this guy is out of his fucking mind. Dude, are you fucking kidding me? Tomasson has been the most effective striker in the competition so far and without him Denmark would probably not have made it from the first round. Is it his fault that Italy sucked and was not able to qualify to the next round? He's doing his best to represent his country and every Milan fan should be proud that JDT is a Milan player. He has been awsome so far in Euro and I hope he continues like this. You gotta be one of the most ******** people to want him out of Milan because your country could not make it out of the first round. WHAT THE FUCK DID HE HAVE TO DO ABOUT IT? He shouldn't have scored for his country? You fucking dumbass. I want to make it very clear that you ARE a FUCKING DUMBASS. This has to be by far the most ******** topic that has appeared on this forum and frankly you're full of shit. Damn I can't stand retards like you. I don't give a shit what the consequences of my response will be and quite frankly I couldn't care less. I just wanted to get the message across that you're a fucking ******.

To be honest... I kind of felt (and thought) like that when I first saw the post, but I think it`s a very emotinal response made just after Italy went out of Euro 2004...

And to think like that... you gotta be very passionate :devil2: about football, maybe even a bit to much...

Anyway it`s an interesting discussion :devil3:

What are you talking about?! Players which can sit box and poach goals is vital in modern football, look at VNR!

OF course we need world class creativy forwards, Shevchenko is certainly that.

IMO we need the following striking options ->

Sheva
Pippo
JDT

Borillo - he over the next 12 months we must decided if he is of Milan quiailty.

and a 4th striker, Cassano/Torres.

I compltly agree JDT isnt overly skilled but he works very hard. Every team need a 'supersub' :D
