I think it depends on how Verona will play and how Krunic would be used.

Our imposing style with 4 full-time attackers is a better setup against teams that show up to play.
Minnows are more competitive at their own ground.
The closed stands have changed things a bit, but Juric's Verona aren't a typical provincial team. They play against the top teams to win, regardless of location, and they have a great record against the Top 7 to show for it.
I think the Allegri and Montella approach would fail hard against them.

But next time we face a team like Udinese without Ibra & Hakan I'd pick Krunic and switch temporarily to a 3 man midfield. Have him start in a deeper position, rather than forming a line with the wingers, which would only encourage them to retract before the ball is even in play. Of course, the front 3 would need to adapt too.
