Im not dissing either. What Im saying is we went to the last option in every position. Sure there are some players who are 1st subs ( like Tonali and Samu ) but the point in general is that in position were we had more alternatives .. we went for the option that is playing less.

If you think about it...partly

Krunic would a first choice sub for the midfield

Dalot and Conti are first choice subs for RB/LB

Tatusaranu is first choice sub for Donnarumma

Colombo, Kalulu, Duarte and Maldini are only starting because of injuries and first choice sub players not being matchfit (Musacchio, Leao)

We really dont have enough players to have a 3rd string squad lol.

In fact, we have to also rest our first choice subs due to injuries to our starting eleven.

Hopefully these guys give a good account for themselves. Especially keen to see how Conti, Maldini and Kalulu perform. We especially need Conti to get up to speed so that he could become viable backup to Calabria and in turn allow us to rest Theo for Dalot.

Why does Rebic start over Leao when fit?

Should Rebic not be on the bench if Leao is not a sub?

(ps before you take this as a personal attack, Leao is a quality player and love the kid but he is second to Rebic currently even when he's had good form. Maybe he will be vice-Ibra to convert him to a CF, since we already have Rebic/Hauge for LW and he's much better as a forward than those two).

Last season he did. This season he did until he was injured and then came back slowly to be integrated. Then, unfortunately as happens Leao ended up injured as Rebic came back and Rebic was forced into CF role.

When both are fit, we will see who starts. Now stop with the anti-Rebic tirade.

Edit: You also clearly missed the words "WHEN FIT" in my post since Rebic didn't start when INJURED and coming back from his INJURY. Does that spell it out for you?

Krunic is not a terrible player...
he just isn't very good compared to the others we have....

I mean probably might have been a star in the Van Ginkel- Pasalic-Mati Fernandez-Jose Sosa- Bertolacci era...

Vultures are blind animals? Didn't know that. Refuses to read the one part of both posts that say *this season* why this wasn't the case. Where Rebic was forced to play CF and then injured, so of course he can't play when he is not in the lineup. Actually crazy.

Leao is a sub. When both are fit and in the squad, Leao will more often than not be on the bench. Unfortunately with both having injuries and Rebic forced to CF we have not had much of a chance to see this bar a few games.

Pasalic was much better than him. Krunic is worse than Andrea Poli.

Nobody can displace Samu. He is Cocainho aka Samu "El Chapo" de Guzman. Sorry if your opinion says otherwise. And, you realise my "opinion" is in fact, an opinion. It's not a raw fact like Leao being Rebic's sub. Opinions are not fact, they can be wrong. Facts are facts because that is what they are. Leao is a sub currently, get over it.

Also do you have a database of every single post to hold over people's heads when they are wrong? Would be kind of funny to do back to you so when you're wrong you can be hung out to dry and see how you try to dig yourself out.

Hauge was not mentioned as he has only started one game (EL vs Celtic) so is a sub currently. Not sure why the need to mention him arose, when this will be his second start. Of course he's not a starter currently for the typical game - that's just a nonsensical post Vulture.
