I liked him more when he made mistakes and tried to pass forward than now that he's playing it safe. At least he was learning something.
I know he has the ability, I have followed him for a long time. He just needs to try to verticalize the play every chance he gets. I saw him too scared to make the pass in multiple occasions. He's improved a lot defensively though, and thats nice to see. |

Changed the game when he came on. Won the corner and then flicked it onto Zapata for the equaliser. Those tackles and then twatting Nagatomo was great too.
This is the pace at which he needs to be integrated into the team, it's beyond any defensive mid his age to be a consistent starter. |

Don't play him in front of the defence and he'll be great. For me hes shown he's suited to a more advanced, attacking position.
