Never seen that film. It's probably Southern though. Most actors are southern. The North although wet and miserable is much more sport orientated.

One of the firts things I noticed when I moved to Pompey is the amount of "pretty boys" there is, probably because it's wealthier. The second in rains everyone legs it inside as they don't want to be cold and is messes up there hair. Up North (sure Kalac will agree) you're playing football even in a thunderstorm, often without a coat. If you leg act like a posh southern wimp up north you're probably gonna get a smack just walking down the street.

The druggies down here are a bunch of wannabe's who try to act hard, wheras up north you really will end up you'll probably be at the wrong end of a knife or bullet if piss the wrong people off.

North sees the south as a bunch of posh snobs who need a smack, whilst the South sees the North as a bunch of dirty people living in mud huts.

I'm generalizing a bit here, but it is the feeling shared by many. There are obviously many parts in both which are decent, I'm talking about the more extreme parts of both. I know I've gone off on one, but I don't care

This one is funny.

I actually think that most of the people who watch his program do it more because of his accent and hurry than to learn how to cook.

Ohhh yeahhhh!!!

As for Becks and Grant...meh. Who I can't stand to listen to are Liam and Noel Gallagher. Plus, the guy Capitão posted below...yuck!

thank god you chose a good example of a welsh accent. the northern ones are horrible, we call them "goggs" (in welsh, gogledd = north) and they have horrible accents, plus they seem to chuck in even more "ch's" than the already unnecessary amount in our language.

in England, North > South
in Wales, South > North

imo.

Best welsh accent and voice.

If I had sex with her, I would take a very high dosage of coffee and Viagra before it just to hear her screaming as high and hard as possible.

yup, great accent

I think she's from Bangor though, it's odd because Bangor is more in the north, but the people don't talk with a gogg accent. They speak with more southern accents, though she moved to pembroke aged 10, which will contribute, people from bangor don't speak with a gogg accent.

We should all get on skype sometimes to hear our weird accents

Maybe we should do it after the first Serie A match? Talk about the game etc?

The Gallagher's are northern, From either Liverpool or Manchester. I forget. So that explains their accents. Although i don't really sound like any of the 3 that were posted. It's just my voice is rather dull more than having an accent.

How very dare you. Although we do have to find out where Sophie is from. She could settle this argument, but only if she's southern that is. If she's northern then i shall continue to fight for the South.

I thought you would be from around there. I'm gonna guess Exeter or Truro. Tell me if i'm right, those are like the 2 biggest cities bar Bristol.

Apparently people from Oxford are meant to also sound like farmers. But i don't see it.

Nearer Exeter than Truro

Some people at my school have sort of farmer accents which are pretty funny. They're mostly really annoying people though who go on about 'ciderrrr' and the Countryside Alliance.
