Yeh, this guy is not good enough. He will be sold once the squad is built sufficiently in the attacking areas.

If even Ambrosini isn't good enough, then this kid cannot even tie up his own shoes.

He was available against Sampdoria & Palermo as well.
You're obviously not one for exaggeration.

Besides, he wasn't even on the bench today.

i don't know what you guys expected from Di Gennaro he has always been slow instead focusing on technical skill, if you want a young pacey play maker than look no further than Osuji. Just because he is slow doesn't necessary mean he is awful look at Seedorf he made a career out of quick footwork and a eye for goal my major problem with him today was his abysmal passing. In any case he provides some cover for the midfield he isn't totally useless and is fairly cheap perfect for a team with zero funds.

Di Gennaro looked rusty like any player would, well probably except Inzaghi, being his first start of the season and coming off a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

His execution wasn't the best but he did show confidence to take players on, shoot on goal and launch some long balls into the box. He was calling for the ball often which shows playing with stars around him doesn't phase him at all.

I liked what I saw in patches from him. We have to give these young players time to mature. What I really like is how Abate is developing.

He provided an nice assist on Pippo's first goal.

I like players with a direct style of play. Always passing in front, looking for the moving players. To bad his passing wasn't really accurate but he shows some good vision. Can't tell much about him based only on today.

There's something about him. I'd like to see Di Gennaro when he is fully fit and his passes do stick. He seems to have a good footballing brain and I'm sure his execution will improve whilst he is getting back to his prime condition.

he need time and more contribution in games, then he will soon retrieve his performance, for god sake he was injured and that is the first game for him after the operation, let us get patience on him; I'm sure he will be a great MF for Milan.

+1

He def. needs some more playing time to get back into it, he was off for a long time so we should be patient. We could let him play again next week in the next cup match, maybe he's better then because he had that game now before and is feeling better. If he is in normal condition and has had some playing time then he should be much better because normally he's not that bad.

Who compare him with your list is a out of any sense, with all respect.

He is a player that can help, assist, support and serve the MF perfectly; and yes he is overweight due the injury period.

He need Leo trust and patience, and I think Leo will let him contribute more after awhile for sure.

.

I'm just being sarcastic here :D but I'm sure there are some of the people here think the level of young players are supposed to be like the names I mentioned (not you off course), especially what they want to play in a team like Milan. Not that it's wrong but, it's just a matter of opinion..it's like when someone already set such a high standard a normal guy just won't be good enough for some..

Reassembled in a few hours after the story cosmos, Livorno dips in the market looking for a midfielder of quality. Rejected at least temporarily solution Troiano (Modena), Livorno snatched in the last hours a promise from AC Milan for the loan of midfielder Davide Di Gennaro. Latter also likes to Siena, Livorno but took the lead. The negotiations will materialize only in the last hours of the market, after the next commitments Cup championship team and Italy of Leonardo.

He's useless for first team anyway. With 6 mids, it's nt that he is gonna get a minute of playing time for us in Seria A this season. Better send him on loan and get him some experience.

^ Heh ... probably true :D

Still ... he didn't really get a good enough shot at playing. Maybe he actually IS good enough. I guess we'll never find out.

Atleast in Livorno he will get some playing time . And it's not that we r selling him. So we will see how good he really is and if good we call recall him.

Zero pace and acceleration, zero strength, average technique, poor vision and creativity - that's our vice-Ronaldinho. And only 22 years old - he will be a star :star:
