Yeah a player like sahin would be better but i'll take constant anyday . He would give us another young player capable of playing good offence and good defence . Plus he wouldint mind warming the bench for allegri . I think this would be a smart move by milan , especially for 1.5 mil .

Jesus. Boateng is not physical. HE IS NOT PHYSICAL.

Where have you seen him make SUCCESSFUL crunching tackles like Rino or Ambro? Where have you seen him out-muscle players from the ball like Rino or Ambro? NEVER. And there are exceptions, but with exceptions i could 'prove' that Ronaldinho is a defensive master.

Boateng is not physical, he is an Attacking Midfielder with good technique, but only average or worse passing. Ambro is physical, Boateng is not.

Pirlo is a technical player, Boateng is not. Boateng is similar to Seedorf, just with more of a goal risk and less passing ability. But he's no Ambro or Rino.

If i was to liken Constant to someone, it would probably be Flamini, albeit with more technical and forward thinking skill and less defensive ability. He is also not like AMBRO OR RINO WHO ARE PHYSICAL.

Players might not be technical beasts, but that doesn't make them physical.

long term i see prince's best position as DM
not sitting in ambro's spot (n/h)...but dm like rino.

he's still maturing so i think using him further forward is best option rite now.
but in 2~3 years i say move him back (n/h)...his athleticism/strength/speed of recovery will be :star: therre but he needs time to "get it" tactically (n/h)

I think what you are trying to say is that boateng is not a very good tackler/marker.

if hes not physical, I dont know what passes for physical.

he seems like he knows how to play, thing is, had Melo. been playing in the juve. game against chievo, i don't think that constant would have done what he had during the match..i wanna see more on this guy before we jump in and buy..

for 1.5M transfer and about 1M salary we are not going to get anyone better.
we should buy him, this is as low risk as you can get and if it don't work out we will get our money back no problem.

Sissoko didnt play that game, they had a youngster, cant recall his name at the moment that later got sent off, in the middle with Aquilani, with krasic on the right and pepe on the left

not a bitter juve friend, its my brother whom has supported them for almost 20 years now..an no, momo didn't even play..get your facts straight before trying to call me out..they had a prima kid, his name is Manuel Giandonato, who hadn't even played an official match with them..also, the kid got a red card in like the 60+ minute of the match..

Certainly more comfortable on the ball than all our CMs other than pirlo. Will we bring him or keep him on loan?

Yes. Melo was been amazing this year. As much as I criticized him last year and laughed at jube (rightfully so) he's been one of best CMs in italy.

Creidt Delneri for using him correctly...

IMO he was man of match v. milan for one... really controlled midfield. I mean we couldn't get by him after 20th...

I am not doubting that Melo has had been good overall this season.

I did though watch the Juve game over again after some people spoke & said how good Melo was & how he dominated Pirlo. The thing is Milan dominated the game interms of possession & for 75/80% of the game looked the more likely team to score without playing particular well & Pirlo only came into contact if you like with Melo once during the whole game which amazed me. Pirlo was never put under pressure by Melo really at all during the game. Melo did block acouple of dangerous shots & had one decent shot from distance that was easily saved. I suppose Melo is just really a player who shields the back 4.

I think Juve are a well organised, gritty team who don't play particularly good football, but rely on a solid shape that counters with the likes of Krasic & the two forwards, They usually sit back especially in the tougher matches & usually look like they are getting dominated but then counter well. I suppose this is like the Brazil side that Melo played in that defended well & then countered & again both sides don't really have the ability to retain possession much.

Well yeah that's my point. Melo sat back. He was COMPLETELY comfortable with Milan holding ball around midfield, but never let pirlo, seedorf, robinho, whoever penetrate the box. People kind of underestimate how hard it is to do. If it was that easier flamini or boateng would be world class DMs... but they aren't cause of disapline and reading it requires...

He played the regista role pretty perfectly. His role was not about being super aggressive like Gattuso, but sitting back reading and making sure milan stayed out of danger areas like say ambrosini is doing now as anchor.....

If Melo was overzealous pushing up, Milan would have scored easier cause he would have left bonucci and cheillini exposed. Cheillini is world class, but bonucci isnt....Zlatan woudl have inevitably had this way.

Eitherway, credit Delneri cause in 09/10 Melo looked beyond lost. He looked like brocchi on a bad day in his first stint w/ milan

from when he played against us, he does show some skill on the ball..looks like his passing is up to par and the kid can run run run..his crossing isn't anything to write home about, but could be worked on if captured..lastest article on Milan News.it is that Constant will be the Alt. to Lazzari if he cannot come..

Constant >>>> Lazzari. He like as Boateng. Strong, skill, good passing, hard working. He will useful to formation's Milan with three midfield, 4-3-1-2. He will midfield left center.

Constant is a great player...
Very True Story !
You don't see as much of him because he's with Chievo... But i think he fits Perfectly into AC Milan squad...
Like:
-------Pato - Ibrahimovic--------
---------Cassano---------
--Pirlo ----------- Boateng--
---------Constant------------

But i think we can use different team, just whoever we are playing with !
This is strong midfield
Age: 23, 23, 31, 28, 29, 21 !

Young !!! Strong midfield, Ultra Attacking... This is just a one of many options !
we can put in Gattuso Deepest... But he is just so monotony !!! Ambrosini, Robinho, FLAMINI !!! But Constant is strong both way... He plays sometimes there with Chievo, he really plays everywhere on midfield.

Constant love Milan....
Looking ahead to the match, the Frenchman told La Gazzetta dello Sport, “I can't wait to see Ronaldinho on the pitch. I consider him the strongest player in the world."

He added, "I am someone like Pirlo. I would say a central midfielder. I can play as a trequartista like I played in France. And I like that role more because I participate in the attacking side of the game.

“Anyway, I don't have particular preferences. I adapt myself.”

Great utlity player ...a player ,i feel, we have been sorely missing since Kaka :proud: left
:someone who can beat players consistently with great pace ..would help pirlo tremendously and more important :more options in the squad -less gametime for seedorf :proud:

...would not be suprised if he cements a place in the starting 11 (if he gets enough game time ) esp. when Max wants to play faster (on the counter  immense )

....although he is another  player who loves the left side

1.5mil great investment
