As I said only a zillion times thus far

, some things have been turned off during the conversion [there's even an announcement about that on top of every forum]. So, for the zillionth + 1 time, and since I can not turn the things on for you, check your User CP - http://forum.acmilan-online.com/usercp.php [link is at the top left] - and go through each and every setting in it and change it accordingly.

Well, it's a mistery alright. Situations like this happen when you convert a forum script to another quite different forum script so we'll just have to live with it. Yep, PM boxes are larger, esp. for Moderators.

It looks great.

Yet ove got a few questoins. Where are the icons, when writing a post to 'bold' and 'ilteic' tihngs etc. ?

Also where are the 'smilie' icons? smile face, devil etc.

One last thing - Can you please explain how to put a picture into your post?

To Melbourne and everyone else who doesn't get the formatting features and smilies, please go to:

Your User CP
Edit options
Message editor enterface, choose standard editor from the drop down box
Save your changes

Then everything should be availabe when you wanna post

As far as pictures are concerned, I don't have the attachment option either but if you have a link of the pic you wanna post, just click on the yellow image icon on the formatting bar, paste your link in the box you'll get, click OK and you're all set

By the way David, how about decreasing the font size of usernames? 'cause some users have long names which kinda spoil the margins

sorry for not replying earlier, i'm on holiday in portugal :devilsmo:

i only just managed to log on the forums and notice the new script. there's plenty of good things i've noticed at 1st but also a few minor details which i'd like changed (if possible, of course

)

1) the red bars on the main page look too bright. any chance we could make them a tad darker, like within the threads?
2) any chance we could change the posts' background colour within the threads into 2 different shades (i.e. like we had in the last one - light and dark grey). it would make it easier to read.
3) the script keeps posts as "new" even though i've read them
4) there was one more thing but now i can't remember what it was - too tired.

I'm going to consider all the suggestions and make the necessary changes as we go.

As of tomorrow I'm not going to be so often online as I have two exams coming up, one on the 14th and one on the 23rd, which I can't afford missing. Mostly I'll be online during the evening for an hour or so - European time.

Go to User CP , its in the left corner .. than go to Edit Signature but 1st u need to have more than 250 posts + to be member of forum at least 6 months .. ( new rule )
