Can’t tell if Pioli doesn’t know how to use him right, has either weird instructions or weird tendencies. Always drifts to the left wing leaving a huge gap in the central attacking spot. It’s a missuse of space if anything, and I don’t expect traditional Pioli to make it an instruction. Leao should be bothering the central defenders with off ball movement making runs behind them, or dropping deeper in front of them offering holdup play and laying it off. Also seems a little disinterested when having to press.

He's a typical player who needs to grow and get confidence. You can just tell he has tons of potential, just needs a good coach who can get it out. Pep and klopp are masters in these things

i liked him the few games he started. but coming on as a substitute, he hasn't shown any kind of urgency or reason for pioli to start him. he could have easily benched piatek by now.

Piatek, except for maybe the last match has been the WORST performer this season. He didn’t deserve to start all the last 6 matches under pioli.

Pioli has managed to fix some things and players and now we look decent.

His top priority now should be to adjust our tactics/play so that we use Leao in 1st XI. Don't care if he's not a #9. Sometimes you just adjust to the talent, like Liverpool has done with Firmino, Napoli with Mertens and so on.

He's done more in one game than Piatek in the whole season. Too bad he was unlucky with those shots.

He is not a pure #9 and has said it even in his first interview. We should keep playin him alongside a pure striker.

Let him play SS if he can shine in that position, maybe he just trying to bring low focus on him, so he s a smart boy. But in Serie A, you should work hard cause they will probably understand that he is a big threat soon
