Juventus are ready to make a bid for Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli as a replacement for Medhi Benatia, according to Mediaset Premium.
There are suggestions Benatia’s rapport with Coach Max Allegri and some of his teammates in Turin has broken down.
Arsenal (who are on the verge of signing Stephan Lichtsteiner as a free agent) and Olympique Marseille are believed to be interested in the Morocco international.
If Benatia does leave Juventus, it’s believed they will turn to Milan centre-back Romagnoli.
His contract runs out in June 2020 and the Rossoneri could be forced to sell some key players if they are excluded from Europe.
They were not given a settlement agreement by UEFA over Financial Fair Play issues and are expecting the verdict on June 18-20.
