Emanuelson confirmed that he will sign a deal for Milan. Milan is trying to get him immediately, but it's not sure if Ajax will let him go in this transfer window. It is for sure though that he will sign nevertheless. He is a free agent in the summer.

Uninspiring at best. But I suppose if Milan really must have a defensively inept left back, it may as well be someone who offers more than Antonini in attack.

if it's true i'm not over the moon about it. i see him as weaker version of marcelo, good at attacking yet not so good at defending. but nevertheless, upgrade compared to antonini.

My thoughts exactly. His skills in defence are no better than Abate's. His offensive skills are pretty good though for a back. I just don't think he's Milan quality and I'm not impressed by this signing.

I mean if this is the guy we will sign, then just let it because we are waisting money. We are off better with Bonera as LB

Does the board got at least a vague idea of what kind of fullback they want?

Honestly i think this is a pretty good signing.

If you leave out 4 to 5 very good serie a sides out he can play against all the others and provide ALOT and i mean ALOT because his attack is somewhat like Evra's and that is a big boost considering how static Bonera is vs weak sides. Plus he is fast and naturally left footed and would be the best fb crosser on our team - maybe after Oddo :D

Edit : But then again he can't play in the CL and if we're getting him in the summer we may as well get someone better! :o

We need Paolo to train these dummies

We'll gladly let go off him. Very technically gifted, but doesn't excel at a single position and lacks a true winner mentality.

What do the followers of the Dutch league think of him?

Pedro, you follow Ajax right? What's your opinion? He can't be wore than Antonini or Bonera...

Braida, Cantamessa and Raiola are in Amsterdam to negotiate the price. If they don't reach an agreement then Emanuelson will join us for free in June.
The duration of Emanuelson's contract has already been agreed upon; it will terminate the 30th of June 2014.

They have already changed it on Wikipedia, he plays for us now, according to Wikipedia. :)

Can someone tell me how he is?

Well this is a surprise. Don't know anything about him so I won't judge yet but reading this thread makes me nervous about his defensive skills.
