Yeah I know ... my sense of humor is at an all time low :(

Hope Pippo's fit enough to start the second leg. If I remember correctly, didn't he score twice against United when he + A. where at Juve? ;)

So damn right, we have to pray that Pippo is ready for the second leg.
I just can't stand Gila anymore. :head:
And I agree, his new haircut is awful.

I don't like his new haircut either ... but what i don't really like is that he does nearly nothing in games like these! He isnt goal hungry like Pippo .... and what we need are goals ... and determination TILL THE LAST FUCKIN SECOND!

I don't expect Inzaghi to score against United but I would expect him to be a nuissance to their defence if he plays so that could be benefitial to the team.

That's all I ask of him but I would be surprised at all if he manages to score a goal or two, their current defensive lineup is a joke.

No Gila is not a bad player ... he knows how to score and play well when he wants!! He just is blocked in CL ... and hasnt that urge of a determined attacker like Pippo. Thats why i hope our great Number 9 manages to play next week against those beasts!

yea totally, their defence on tuesday was a complete joke..how that brown (?) and heinze collieded when kaka scored his first goal..GENIUS :o

i think whoever says pippo shouldnt play the second leg is a total and complete asshole ;) he can play and i do expect a goal, either from him or kaka
but its just that he hasnt played soo much lately so i dont know what to really expect from him..just distracting the manutd defence is alot so ill be happy if he moves the way he usually does and gives the defenders something to think about besides kaka

Don't know; maybe because Pippo sounds like his first name, or maybe he had it long before joining Milan.

Pippo is a kind of Italian slang for "sniff". Not smelling sniff but rather a sentimental sniff like this smiley: :proud:

That's why the San Siro has banners that say: "Pippo, e sono felice" meaning "Sniff, and I'm Happy!" or ":proud: , and I'm happy!"

That's what my dad always told me anyways, ;) .

Your dad lied to you! :D

Pippo in North Italian slang means I snort cocaine. (infinitive = pippare)

As for the origin of the nickname, I'm sure some fan can help out. All I know is the Italian version of Goofy is called Pippo. Maybe it's even a drug reference, he does look like a cokehead, the skinny motherfucker.

I guess he did. But "sniff" and "snort" are so alike. Maybe he was trying to avoid drug references around me.;)

They call him Pippo just for the fact that it's an abbreviation of Italian names like Filippo, Giuseppe ( or Giuseppino ), and some others. Then if 'pippare' etc mean something else they adapt it for banners, slogans, etc. ;-)
