Something people often forget is that Buffon wouldn't have been Buffon without Juventus (same for Totti or Maldini or any other bandieri). When you are determined to stay in a club, become a symbol and a pillar of that club, the club forgives many things that you do. Stands by you during your dark days. Gives a feeling of stability that in turn enables you to achieve greatness.

Donnarumma will never ever enjoy any of this. He will therefore never reach the heights reached by the other players I mentioned.

I hope no one compares this to any of our big sales in the last 20 years.

This is the first time a player has left on his own accord and with such malice.

A true Judas. Not even driven by money because it appears to be done with hatred. Why not agree to sign a contract and be sold for a huge fee, at the very least?

As a goalkeeper, I see a lot of talent obviously. But he has a mistake in him. He's very similar to Abbiati actually. Just better on corners. Both were capable of amazing saves but parried a lot of weak efforts and concede a few shockers.

He screwed it up. I see him being a top-rated player but then he will never accomplish anything special - or atleast be remembered for it. He has tainted his entire career with such a dick move.
