The best way to ruin a striker is to tell him "we dont trust you that much" by giving him an equal (or better) competitor.
We are on our way to have a striker that might actually score more than 20 g/y in Cutrone. Adding Belotti is definitely not good for Cutrone.
Just like how the Great Wenger make Lacazette and Auba fight for a spot. One of them will get very depreciated in terms of value.
We should also think about which type of striker we want to add, we now have
-Kalinic as the very physical target man
-Cutrone as the more mobile forward
-Silva as the technical player
Silva is the most likely to leave so we should add a more technical player if we want to keep some diversity here.
I´d give Silva another season though if there are some signs of improvement.
Regarding Belotti there is the big elephant in the room named Raiola, I can´t see him selling his client to Mirabelli.
This would lead to Mirabelli having more power over important pieces of his portfolio and he would be stupid to do that.
