35 points in half a season and I see no reason to think 4th spot ship has sailed. That would put us, at worst, 6-7 points behind the 4th placed team.

Yeah, but we need 16 points in the next 6 matches to get to 35.

So we need a miracle then.

The line is too high Vincenzo.....every single one of our defenders has ruined the offside trap in these last two games with this high line.....and teams find it easy to play a ball up the flank around our pressure and break the line easily.

Insigne did it repeatedly and the shitty left-winger for austria did it a couple times

The high line and offside trap only works when you press savagely from the front and give no time on the ball to play a pass.....if we are not going to press that highly, then please just drop the defensive line back about 10 yards

Usual crop of delusional idiots who think that throwing money at the team = transformed into City or PSG overnight. (Never mind that even they took years to reach this season's level).

We can't keep changing managers and players around like we're Inter. Patience and continuity has been the recipe for the likes of Napoli, Spurs, Dortmund, Atletico etc, and that's what we should be aiming for right now. Stop living in 2007 guys.

I agree. We should pick a good manager and stick with him for a couple of years.

Not Montella though

Think I'm disappointed by The Bear.

Things being said on this forums by others make more sense to me than what Montella decision making does.

Shit coach now gets 5 games to prove himself, the 5 finals they say. One win or 2-3 draws will grant him another 5 games to prove himself. 2-3 wins mean a life-time contract. 4-5 wins, statue of The Glider Master built in front of the San Siro.

Shit coach.

No one fuckin expected the team to turn to City overnight

But if you are gonna come here with a straight face and say this is the best we can fuckin do after spending 200m+ then you are fuckin delusional and a condescending fuck.

The team we had last year was garbage and even they managed to play better football than these bunch of clueless fucks (spearheaded by captain oblivious).

so by your logic, montella is a good coach since he managed a worse squad to better results?

anyway, I think montella has some potential (mainly due to napoli and inter 2nd half) but i'm not sure if hes the right man for this period of time in which we either need to win EL or finish top 4.

We are almost december and even himselft hasnt clarified what his team wants to play.
When he figures that out it will take at least another 2 months to implement it.

Maybe next season will have a team that can play the way he likes, but I am not even sure than is worth it. he s highest level maybe average to good at best.

So it's clearly not Montella's fault. We haven't even reached the break yet. Last season we were third in January, 2 season ago Inter were first.

You really lack basic comprehension skills if you think that's what I said. I said it takes TIME to build a team after changing so much, and if you look at the likes of Napoli, Spurs etc (our realistic target level in the next few years), their success is based on patience, perseverance and consistency.

Also, calm down and go outside sometimes. It's just football.

6 wins, 6 losses and 2 draws. Has amazing skills in the don't get fired department.

The good:

- Defence is improving
- Our build up play is improving

The bad:

- Not playing Cutrone
- Lack of clear attacking identity other than give the ball to Suso

What he cannot control:

- Lack of speed and dynamism in the team
- Players with poor decision making and movement
- Players with poor final passing other than Suso and RR
- Players that cannot finish chances that an elite player would

I saw improvement today, so I'm not mad at him.

it's not his fault our forwards couldn't finish their chances.

How low must we go, untill this clown gets sacked?

Probably as in the case of Allegri, we need some Sassuolo level team to smack us 4-0

Yeah, because everything suddenly turned great when Allegri was sacked...

It actually did. Weren't we one of the top performing teams in 2nd half of the season?

Yep, we smashed Atletico and ushered in three years of stability, success and top-table finishes.

We actually played well against Atletico too.

You are talking out of your ass. The disaster that followed after that was because of a shit management. The decision to sack Allegri was good and it showed. The decision to hire inexperienced coaches and not even stick with them when they're performing, along with not investing properly in the market, is what killed us.

What this management did wrong is stick with a shit coach and let him spend our money., resulting in purchases like Kalinic...
