Diego Milito got a nice finishing touch, but I don't think that getting him would be such a good idea:

a) He's a goal poacher, we've got two already.
b) He plays in Spain, would take time to adapt.
c) Italian defense is much harder.
d) I think he's about 28.
e) That's tribal football. :D

He is one of the most all rounded striker out there, he can do it all but he is not brilliant in any of them, his price is 25 mill. euro and it is about to renew his contract with Real Zaragoza, he is not gonna come.

Uhhh, he has played in Italy before... he is pretty proven in the Serie A.

2004–2005 -> Genoa -> 59 (33)

You're right, when he played at Genoa the team was in serie B.

Milito played in Italy's lower division -Serie B- which further proves my point that Italy is too much for him.

Serie B isn't much different to Serie A. If you can score in Serie B than you can score in Serie A. Some of our recent capocannoniere, in Serie A, were players coming up from Serie B. Luca Toni, Rolando Bianchi, Cristiano Lucarelli, Christian Riganò, to name a few.

Fact is Milito had a fantastic record for Genoa and is suited to Italian football so he shouldn't have problems adapting.

My bad, you are right. They have dropped down and moved up so many times I was confused.

The fact he played in the Serie B proves shit.

You don't believe in evolution or what? Players can improve, duh!

I'm not saying he's good enough for us, cause I don't think he is. But the fact he played in the Serie B proves nothing

Were you aware that your 'god', pippo also played in serie b at one point in his life? Till 1996 in fact, i think if i remember correctly. everyones plays in a low league at some point. Milito has stepped up, surprisingly well i must admit, in spain, but spain is of course suited for strikers. But hes far from being a flop in Italy. I'd say he would be a nice third choice striker, behind ronaldo and pato/sheva whoever arrives.

If Sheva/Pato arrives we won't have another non-EU spot and afaik Milito doesn't have any EU passport.

milito would have an EU passport... hes half italian i think, anyway im all for signing him i dont think hell have any trouble settling into the italian league or atleast i wouldnt mind if he needed a bit of time to just like we did with gilardino. hes a striker that scores 20+ per season, meaning he has a thirst for goals, dont underestimate zaragoza theyre not that far from the big clubs either, offcourse milan is a whole new level but i feel this guy has it in him, he probably speaks the language already too.

Milito was playing in Serie B while he was 25. Don't tell me it's normal for a player to play most of his career in lower leagues then become a superstar suddenly while he's hitting 30. Toni is an exception.

milito is not good enough for Milan..just like Oliviera.. they both scores a lot of goal but look at Oliviera when he arrived at Milan..Are we gonna do the same mistake again??

I think and sure that Tevez would be the best man!!
