Malaga holds on for CL. Atletico out. If Inter does not make it in 45 minutes, we are Pot 1.

Even if they do, we could hope for Bayern to win the CL and knock Chelsea off CL.

they weren't too bad to be fair. they fought until the last minute. Falcao's goal gave me a good scare.

and they won EL trophy, again thanks to Falcao.

Nope. I believe both Real Madrid and Arsenal are Top Pot team. But it is going to be fun for Jubentus.

we are confirmed with Pot 1. If Chelsea wins, we are no.8; if Chelsea loses (hence Hotspurs), we are no.7, and Valencia will be no.8.

Valencia will be rooting for Bayern. They must have a very mixed feeling after the 2001 defeat.

Do the math.. 8 teams make pot 1. We are 12th in co-eff. Liverpool, Lyon, Atletico and Inter who are all ahead of us have missed the CL. Hence, we automatically become 8th and thus Pot 1.

We are going to be with Real-barca-manu-bayern-arsenal-porto-and valencia or chelsea . So the toughest we can get is man city-b. dortmund-psg . That will be sweet , considering we have been getting barca and real for the past 3 years ....

HOW TO READ THE RANKING

The club coefficient rankings are based on the results of clubs competing in the five previous seasons of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. The rankings determine the seeding of each club in all UEFA competition draws.

UEFA Champions League points system

First qualifying round elimination – 0.5 points
Second qualifying round elimination – 1 point
Group stage participation – 4 points
Group stage win – 2 points
Group stage draw – 1 point
Round of 16 participation – 4 points

Since 2009/10 clubs have been awarded an additional point if they reach the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals or final.

NB Points are not awarded for elimination in the third qualifying round or play-offs, since those clubs move to the UEFA Europa League and are awarded points for participation in that competition.

UEFA Europa League points system

First qualifying round elimination – 0.25 points
Second qualifying round elimination – 0.5 points
Third qualifying round elimination – 1 point
Play-off elimination – 1.5 points

Milan are Champions League seeds

Milan will be seeded in the Champions League group phase draw for next season along with the likes of Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

The Rossoneri were in the second pot last term, which is why they were paired with Barça in the first round.

However, they are now 12th in the UEFA rankings and in the top seeds because Inter, Atletico Madrid, Lyon and Liverpool all failed to qualify for the competition.

At this time the top seeds are Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Porto and Milan.

There is one slot left, currently held by Valencia, but Chelsea will take it if they win tonight’s Champions League Final against Bayern Munich.

Juventus are only 43rd in the UEFA rankings, while Udinese are 58th and go through the preliminary round.
