i read somewhere that they had chance to sign Villa but they didn't...doesn't make sense because they wanted him so badly. I agree that they need a new striker despite that they have some great players who can score anytime. Raul is always good adition, very experienced but that's not enough, Ruud will be 33 next year and if he gets injured there will be huge problems, Higuain is not so experienced and Saviola si crap. They need powerfull striker who will score 20+ goals.

adebayor is the best option benzema would be fine
not huntlear cause i want him in milan
raul has to be the super sub now give youngsters more chance. rud i hate him cause he dives and was manu player but he is a awesome poacher.
toress would have been the best fit but dont see him coming.

He was kept out of the Villa - Ajax game despite the game being fairly open. The only time i saw him he was taking a FK.
If somebody is totally kept out of the game by a slow powerful CB like Laursen, how do you think he would fair against the likes of Materazzi or Mexes in Serie A?

I also remember a certain 25 appearences, 4 goals. Mateja Kezman.
This was with a 122 app 105 goal record at PSV.
Emerson could be made into a 30 goal man in the Dutch league.
Comparing Huntelaar with another unproven talent like Benzema makes the former look nothing more than average.
