i don't blame them ffs
i just said that it was a bad move from my point of view
maybe they used belotti just as card in auba's negotiation to show that there is alternatives
who knows
but if we were going for belotti, doing it "a la de laurentiis" would the best strategy

We see your point, but it's still assuming what they did/didn't do.

How do you know they didn't and Belotti wanted to be silent about the situation?

Conti and Biglia were both vocal about their intentions.

There's a quiet truth to this conversation

F&M are infiniently more experienced at this type of work than you are. I would love to see the absolute train wreck just the Belotti situation would be with you in charge for a week.

I love the input and opinion you have, but you're not dealing with reality when you say things like "this is what they should have done"

You have no clue what they did and they are much more capable than you'll ever be in this type of business

i know that they are more capable than me and that's why they are leading ac milan, not me
& about conti's intention
as i remember it worked really well, especially when inter made a higher bid
player's ambition stop the situation from turning into an auction

Ok, so follow me here...

F&M know the angle about "have the client put pressure on their club" right?

Ok so we agree on this. Good. This is better than I thought.

So with that said, it could be that Belotti didn't want to say anything or Belotti could have been a smoke screen... or many other possibilities that you're not thinking about.

To call this situation one of F&M's "greatest mistakes" is silly talk.

Baseless, anecdotal, fake news, goal.com, first year pundit, video game football manager silly talk

Also, for all we know, maybe Belotti begged Cairo to leave for Milan.

We have zero reliable information about the situation, and I would take everything said publicly with a pinch of salt anyway.

even alexis sanchez who plays for a "big team" like arsenal asked for transfer
is belotti better than him? no..is he a star like him? no
same for aubameyang
belotti is in worst situation than sanchez..he plays with midtable club in serie A who will never win anything, and his "favourite club" was negotiating for him, the least he can do is just saying a sentence like " a move to milan would be a big thing in my career, but let's wait and see" , that would put pressure on cairo
but no he didn't, he did nothing actually, even when he met with cairo in the hotel he asked for raise in wage only
just when he accepted the 100M€ clause, that told me verything about the player

or the player just want to respect his current employee and keep the relationship with his torino fans healthy, all the talk about belotti saga only come from media and cairo dickfull mouth, belotti never say anything directly through media about his status on the market.

Of course he does. He sucked our dicks like a month back

What did he say?

Building that love for Costa now. Takes me a few days to turn the mental aircraft carrier around towards a new striker.

I want him on a five year deal. Fuck Atletico.

Cairo values the player at 100m but only pays him 1.5m. The player accepted the contract terms(end of story)

i said if getting belotti was the real goal
negotiating in that way is a bad move
because de laurentiis tried the same thing last summer and then changed the strategy

look, F&M are very professional in what they do
but it doesn't mean that they can't make errors
nobody here would argue that borini deal for 1+5m€ obligation was bad deal
people make mistakes, even mirabelli in his interview said that we should be cautious so we make less errors
in world of business (and you know about it better than me) perfection is impossible

How was it a bad move? They offered a fair deal, it was rejected and then they moved onto other objectives.

So in about 7-8 years of top football he has like 6-7 missed chances that he should have scored and some bloopers, top player, the only problem for me is that he is 30 i think. But if we get him for around 40m i see no problem.

Wish more American's would get into Hockey.

NHL guys are the ultimate pros..they never get into trouble, great role models, hockey is a fast paced game, tons of hitting, you got the odd fights and NHL playoffs are easily the hardest trophy to win in pro sports...World Cup is tough bc it comes around every 4 years.

Love what Nashville has done, we see you guys killing it here from Toronto:thumbsup:

Appreciate the kind words
It still hard for any of us to believe how much of a hockey town Nashville has become.

I'd love to make it up for a Leafs game eventually though. Are tickets still outrageously expensive up there?

I'd still sell Niang for a double cheese burger, some potato wedges but only if the sauce came free. I'd like a coke light on top as a nice gesture of goodwill.

I think that's a fair offer for Henry 2.0

With this formation we only need a midfielder and a striker ( Costa or Auba).

Leaf tickets are extremely expensive...mostly rich people and corporations own tons of seats...not the best place to watch a game to be honest. Toronto is a city like NY, the good seats will be gone VIA season seat holders who have $$

The rumour is the waiting list for season seats for the Leafs is literally over 100 years, 20-40,000 people waiting list.

Only way to get them is to buy out someones seats, that will run you over $100,000 grand plus just to buy the rights...then u gotta buy the tickets
