Here's our striker situation (Wikipedia)
Kalinic 3 goals in 12 games (25%)
Silva 6 goals in 14 games (43%)
Cutrone 5 goals in 15 games (33%)

Notes:

>Silva's goals are inflated via playing in Europa but he's the only striker who can make a shot for himself.
>Cutrone has been our best off the ball mover but will again be completely anonymous if he doesn't get service.
>Kalinic can be useful if he can hold up the ball for someone to take a shot. He might be our worst finisher.

Cutrone -Silva up front pls. Then Kalinic can come on for whomever has been more shit at the 70th minute.

If Bontella FINALLY tries to spam crosses all game then I'd say Kalinic has to start.

Play the 4-4-2 for fuck's sake Bontella...I don't care if Bonucci gets benched.

You're also forgetting that Silva is admired and is being encouraged by none other than possibly one of the greatest football players in the history of the sport. Not taking that factor into serious consideration is like being on the admissions council at MIT and throwing out an application from a 3.5 GPA physics student even though they have a recommendation from Stephen Hawking himself.

We can still play the 442 with Bonucci. He has played well in both 3 and 4 man systems. We just need to get back to basics, pick a formation and play it properly.

Milan having to drop points in order for le coach to be gone is not fair to Milan. Milan will get points because this group deserves better than the 8th position in the domestic league. Milan will pull through with good team efforts. Le coach is not a part of this team, of this club.

by reading montella's interviews I don't think he will change formation again. at least not for the sassuolo match.
the main problem right now is not what kind of formation to play but the team knowing how to play that formation.
if changing to another formation will mean more time until the players learn how to play it then it makes no sense.
change formation if players have a clear image of what each of them has to do on the pitch

We had 0 balls in the opponent box in the first half vs AEK.

Yes we suck at finishing but i think the list is much longer than just that.

Right now we suck at pretty much everything.

That first half performance was so bad it will be long remembered!
