There are few WC ones but there are ones that look a lot better...just search in the Bundesliga.

Not knocking Gabriel cuz hes still young but that Non-EU slot definitely could have been better used.

either loan him or keep him because Pazzagli as a third option was awful in pre-season too.

Ferdinando Coppola should be ours... we loaned him to Torino last season and he isnt listed on their roster. I think he should be back...

mid 30s, lots of experiences... perfect 3rd choice

Coppola was pure Galliani genius at work:

He was signed by A.C. Milan in the summer of 2006, for €200,000 (included sign-on and agent fee)

In June 2008 Atalanta bought half of the rights from Milan for €750,000

After Atalanta relegated, Milan bought him back for €200,000

Not even counting how much Milan made from loan fees in the way. And the guy never played for Milan.

Edit: Coppola was involved into the Calcioscommesse, from his time at Siena. Will start now a 6 months suspension.

yeah nice business... I dont see him listed on Milan's roster either... but if he is still ours he should be our #3. 262 pro games, he is a steady vet with experience, which is what a #3 should be in my opinion.

I hate the idea of having a young keeper as our #3, they cant get experience which is needed in young players, with field players its different since they can be subbed in, that really isnt the case with keepers...

See my edit.
Besides, we bought Pazzagli for third keeper.

Gabriel made his senior team debut today and he was very solid. Made 2-3 important saves and was pretty commanding vs Sweden.

Senior team debut - well done. Despite the little errors that he's making (which is understandable considering how young 19 is for a GK, and the months missed due to injury), his coaches clearly see something in him.

I have a feeling we'll look back at Gabriel as the best signing of this window.

I dont understand why Menezes picked him. He is still young for the 2014 world cup.
