I think not getting humiliated by Ladri's B team would be a high order. Not even thinking what Ladri's A team could do to us after beating Sampdoria 3-0 in walking mode.

Buffon's not great at penalties, but it's not like we've had exceptional PK keepers since Dida anyway.

I recall Abbiati saving one - the classic Dida on the bench one - and Diego Lopez saving one on his debut.

Otherwise, none. And no, I don't count Donnarumma against Toni Kroos.

Buffon career penalty stats: Saved 28, Missed 61. 31% saves.
Dida career penalty stats: Saved 8, Missed 22. 27% saves.

Maybe peak buffon was good at saving penals. Not the current geriatric one. That is a bs stat. Check his record in any cup finals and that will give a better picture about his sbility to stop penalties in games that actually matter.

He made a great penalty save against Fiorentina just a few weeks ago.

Yeah, it's really awesome over such a long career.

Checked a few others too:
Casillas: 18 saved, 67 missed. 24%.
VdS: 8 saved, 45 missed. 15%.
Julio Cesar: 15 saved, 31 missed. 33%. That's pretty impressive too.

But the true penalty star is Handanovic. 34 saved, 55 missed. 38%.

even the last one he lost vs napoli, he made a few saves during the shoot out.
