Official: Davide Calabria Thread

A statement from Milan confirmed Calabria was taken to hospital for tests, which showed head and facial trauma.

He will remain under observation at the clinic in Verona, but is conscious.

“There was blood coming from his nose, but he did speak and waved at us,” explained teammate Alessio Romagnoli on Sky Sport Italia.

Calabria has had a pretty steady improvement curve this season.

It seems like he doesn't feel as much pressure as most others. Perhaps since he's not intended to be a first team player...or for whatever other reason.

Kids finally getting a good run at it with injuries now. Looking really sharp, probably his best performance for Milan. Hopefully he can stay injury free and build on that.

Love the way he’s been playing lately. Finally have a good run fitness wise and he’s reaping the benefits. His tackling tonight was so clean it was almost Maldini-esque at stages haha. Wonderful performance.
