The question that Leo and Paolo would be pondering over is: Who would be our next Ballon D'Or?

Nobody in the current squad is really positioned to be one. Hakan maybe by a stretch, if he becomes a phenomenon over the next years.. But seems unlikely. He'll be a very good player, but not the best in the world.

No defender is going to win the award for years and years unless a Cannavaro like world cup excellence outlier occurs. Nothing Milan can do to influence that.

If you revisit this club's past decades of glory, they have always been rooted in players who have won Ballon D'Ors. Leo and Maldini are fully aware of that.

So who can they sign now who could be Kaka's successor? That's the profile they are hopefully after in these last 8 days.

When I said I wanted him to be our Buffon I meant I want him as our and Italy's No1 GK for the majority of his career.

You mean to say aggression... GKs need that too, but he's a kid, it will come with age and more game time.

Fuck wud I want him to be a leader? Have out-players to be leaders
