well... maybe with veterans Maldini & Costacurta trainin' alongside... he could be a surprise... afterall we have already bought him... no point lamentin' that fact anymore... i rather remain hopeful that he can deliver...

Agreed. The good thing about older players is their experience. Obviously speed is essential but if you have experience you can make up for it. And also with the number of options we have at left back there is no reason Favali cannot step up.

Maybe galliani was too embarassed to present this one...

On another note, Favalli could become a starter as the defence with both Cafu-Serginho is not balanced, or well-organised, so he could take the position... Another solution would be Maldini on the left, I like the idea!

He was the worst f...in defender in Inter squad. But at the moment he turned 34 and had no contract Galliani remembered. "Oh, we are lacking experience in defence" This guy is a joke and i would take Pancaro over him anytime. With the signings like Favalli we are just becoming a laugh in European football. What good can he do for Milan :conf:

Not that anybody gives a toss really but Acmilan.com announces:

Giuseppe Favalli suffered a partial tear to his right medial collateral ligament during a challenge in the Milan-Brescia Italian Cup tie and will be sidelined for 60 days if there are no complications.

I don't particularly like Favalli but i wish him a clean and quick recovery.

Why do our left backs keep getting injured? Its weird. Kaladze used to get injured so often when he played there...janku was injured for most of the season when we signed him and serginho has missed most of this season as well. Hmmmm
