European elite..nice comparison with us! Under capello we got too automated and our strikers had to be changed, after the Barca victory we became unbeatable.
We lost and won against Ajax in the group phase that year, iirc.

I don’t know about your coaches Mazza, you can’t put Sarri in that line. It doesn’t mean if a coach is tactically different that he is something special. Even Pippo is tactically different...and Sarri hasn’t won anything yet.

Tbh i'd put it more down to fatigue rather than a lack of strikers. Milan had been on top for three straight seasons... winning both Serie A and making it to those 3 finals... which means alot of games. Then u add in USA 94 where italy made it to the final.

91 points in serie a with napoli is worthy of a trophy...especially with that starting XI :lol:
