Sky Calciomercato: The signatures are still missing. Signed emails are expected. But the Rossoneri club has a verbal agreement with the player and the club. Hauge can arrive in Milan in the next few days for medical visits.

How crazy is it that I am so excited about a 5 million dollar transfer lol. There is a real possibility once he officially signs that this farmer instantly becomes our most complete attacking forward just like that.
Watching his highlights has had me even more excited for this transfer.

I know its only Norwegian league but fuckin hell he looks impressive as fuck. He looks very mature.

At a reportee $5M this could be the transfer pf the season.

Chiesa is great and honestly hats of for working his ass off like that playing as a wingback when he?s clearly a born forward and has such a good eye for goal that he still needs to develop... but man imagine wanting to splash big on him when we could have Hauge for 5m

I still want Bakayoko and a CB to feel complete. I think we are fine at RW and RB. People are shitting on our players, but it's not like we're playing CL. Even Samu is OK vs most of the Serie A teams... and it's not like we are reliant on him. We have a system that's working and a good backup for him, although it seems he'll be the backup. With Diaz and Hauge our depth is good there.

I'm more worried about a vice-Ibra, but hopefully Rebic can deliver and Pioli can adjust his tactics.

Many people here underestimate how much Serie A has fallen behind (and will keep falling for the next few years) relative to La Liga duo and EPL since Milan glory days. I say this as someone who loves Italian football in general and I see realistic prospects of the league getting better.
Football as a business is growing fast for everyone but is stagnated in Italy. Serie A can revert the stagnation with some much needed reforms (and that's what the funds are looking for). But that's in relative terms. EPL is getting a bigger and bigger piece of the pie and that will hardly revert.

Juventus is firing all cylinders with league titles and CL runs and stadium and they've maybe the biggest star in the game and they barely made the top 10 in revenue (and yes, revenue is not everything). That is more or less the same revenue as Arsenal who is out of CL for 4 season now.

Football is far from a simple equation of money. Clubs build better teams and win and attract better players with less all the time. EPL clubs are still overall terrible in Europe.

But you need perspective... Over all the Herculean work Milan has to do to even get back on his own feets you got a really awful reality of the shifting financial balance of the leagues that is degrees different from what it was in 2007.

You realize Spain is falling behind, right? You realize they're losing players to England and now Italy, because of the tax laws there, right?

Premier league revenue is insane, even though they just lost one of their biggest contracts in TV revenues, and that the threat of Brexit makes the future of their league hang in the balance as no one really knows how it will impact the UK's ability to hire or even retain their foreign players.

I'm sorry, if we want to talk about realism, why aren't we talking about the things that are actually impacting Serie A's competition? Serious issues, that are structural, and there's no doubt Serie A is behind, but the projections are clearly indicating that won't last much longer.

I mean, I know it's trendy but you don't really need to use wingers with inverted foot all the time. Sale, Diaz and probably Hauge will be fine in the right.

You may even add some dimensions to the game, crossing, interplay with the fullback...

Chiesa himself is right footed btw.

@marco_ramiccia @NonEvoluto: The #rossoneri managers continue to converse with Wesley Fofana agents.
Soon should arrive a new proposal of #Milan on the table of
@ASSEofficiel, offer that should be for an outright transfer.

Outright transfer? This is unheard of!

Hauge arrival means Paqueta will leave and Brahim will be AM.

Hauge and Saele for the RW. Rebic and Leao for the LW.

In other cases Rebic and Hauge can swap roles.

Watched Crotone game again. Just to repeat what we all know: how strong is Theo! Ffs hes incredible. Pure class and power. Has that top player vibe on him like I saw when Thiago arrived.

Yup - only thing I dont like is his rolling around on the pitch but I cant complain because of all the other positives.

Perhaps in EPL one day, in Italy it will be decades before a club is sold for that sum.

The reality is nobody is buying clubs for such vast amounts of money.

No offense

But Serie A has a long way to go before catching EPL, La Liga or the Bundesliga. Heck, even Ligue 1 is making all the right moves.

The quality of the product in Italy is shit tbh. I mean, just look at the pitch we played in Crotone. Abysmal.

And then you have stadiums that are literally falling apart, poor attendance, a scandal every other day, meh in match graphics and commentary.

The league will not improve only if the top 6 or so improve their squads and infrastructure. I mean, even Championship sides have better pitches and a attendances than half the Serie A sides.

Napoli asked Genoa for the list of positives to clarify, perhaps to preserve the players who had particular contacts during the match (Ugolini) if tomorrow they are positive for Napoli the system goes into crisis, on Sunday there would be Juve (Bonan )

Leicester going for Burnley’s CB. Might leave Milan a clear path for Fofana.

We need agreement with Fofana first, we should rely to the player to press for a move. Then we can close for 30M. Don't believe the 35M reports, West Ham offer included 10M or more only as bonuses.

From what i have seen Hauge's football IQ is high.
He isnt running @ defenders or shooting all the time.
He seems to know when its better to pass & his vision is good.
So happy we got him.

Exactly.... i think he will be tested on the right as soon as he settles in.
No way we will have such an asset with Samu starting with poor output.

Can you please make a list of all the football clubs sold for 1+ Billion dollars?

I'll wait.

Yes. I don't see buyers lined up to buy Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, etc...

These clubs are worth billions and will only increase in value.

Nobody is buying the club outright.

Arsenal ($2.2 billion market cap)

Arsenal shares are slightly different to other listed football club shares and you can?t buy or trade them through IG. Arsenal Football Club is not listed on a public exchange, but its parent company Arsenal Holdings is traded on the specialist market NEX Exchange. These shares are very hard to come by, and the price tag was a hefty ?30,000 a share in October 2019.

Arsenal Holdings owns the Arsenal Football Club and 11 other subsidiary companies that deal with stadium management, retail operations and property development.
Juventus ($1.5 billion market cap)

Juventus listed on the Milan Stock Exchange (MTA), under the ticker JUVE, in 2001. It is one of three Italian teams listed on the stock market. The share price has delighted investors over the past five years, growing by more than 570%. Many say this happened because the club signed Cristiano Ronaldo, and it has been dubbed ‘the Ronaldo effect’.

Agreed. I dont understand the fetish for inverted wingers.
