One last time and get it through your thick head, giovinco is not a mezz'ala, so how the fuck would he fit into our tactics and why would juve even sell him to us. Its not as though the management of ladri doesn't see his talent , its just that he doesn't fit in with del ner's tactics

Not to interrupt in some of you guys bashing on RossonerRonaldo but giovinco is and has proven to be a solid AM which is something we are looking for no.? I know the whole ganso fever has taken over the forum but what if he does end up at merda.?

Do we still keep running with a makeshift AM because the quality out there right now for that position isn't "WC" like most of you are asking for..we need to be looking for other options for if the ganso fever goes away we have someone else in place.

He played behind the strikers in U21 and majority of the time he played in juve..juve would move him to LW at times because they found out how well he plays both..trust me on this I have follows juve for years now week in and week out because my bro supports juve..

Totally agreed if we wont get Ganso itd be good to get him for AM but i was thinking if we got Ganso for AM we could try Giovinco as Mezz'ala to see if he can do well in that position!

Even if he could be made into one then who's to say that we're going to get him, sure he's very talented but the fact is that the powerhouses of italy have never traded their young talents. He's on loan with parma and if del neri goes by the end of the season, then I 'm sure he'd be brought back to fight for a spot.

I have watched him like couples of times in Looserpool he was bad! And when i mean bad i mean "BAD" and looking at his scoring records i'd rather buy a Serie B striker!

No one is denying that the kid's got talent. It's just his physique and height make him too weak to play in a three man midfield as a mezza'la. Plus he definitely wont succeed as an AM as he would just get crowded out and barged off the ball. He has dribbling skills, true. But you need more than just good dribbling skills when you have that kind of a physique, you need to be 'great' at it. Hence why Messi is so successful (He can hold onto the ball and his dribbling is top class).

I am not saying that Giovinco cant succeed at a top club, but he still has a long way to go for that to happen imo. We just cant be taking risk on a player who only has the 'potential' to succeed at a bigger club, we need someone who can guarantee that he can succeed. I wont mind getting Giovinco, but it has to be for a bench role initially....

and I certainly wont mind getting him just for his free kicks, which are top drawer...

(and RossonerRon, dont bother responding to this post. My intelligence gets severely affected when I argue with you and have to read through your rubbish)

Okay then i can agree with this since if we get Ganso Giovinco can be a decent sub and lets face it if we're gonna buy Ganso we're gonna need a backup!

And we already have more than enough backup. Need to sign starters first before we even think of signing more backups....

Giovinco countless times has said granted on loan from juve that after what they did to him that he will do whatever is necessary to keep from going back..the kid can score goals..solid on freekicks and has superb passing ability short and long..not to mention he was given the nickname in Italy known as the "atomic ant" because he Is super small but has great speed and pace to burn players and leave them standing..

Ash I see what your saying bro..good point..his height is his only down fall..and milanista come on man..he played the AM role growing up in football..younger Italian NT he played as a AM..but now that he's getting started on the regular now its like ash said his height isn't the best for the role so he now plays lw and ss..

Antother reason you're an idiot: Relying on Wikipedia.

That one made me laugh! :star:

But he played the AM role while he was growing up and even played in that position when he was at Juve he's playing SS nowadays cuz of his height like MilanSpecialist explained dont ignore his posts!

And another reason.

You are living in the past. He used to play as AM. Now he plays as SS. We already have SSs in our squad who plays as AM. Cassano and Robinho.

So what you're saying is that he completely lost his ability to play as an AM  now that is a laugh :D!
