I want to celebrate the tittle on San Siro!!!!

LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE

:fp::fp::fp::fp::fp:
Galliani said that Milan won't celebrate when they get the Scudetto in Rome. 3 days later we are playing Palermo at the Barbera so they will stay in Rome (closer to Palermo) for the days after.

So i guess that means that we will have the party at the San Siro for sure :D. I'm very happy cause i am in Milano from thursday till tuesday (13 - 18 May) and i'm in for a party :star:

With no De Rossi and and no Perotta (especially De Rossi), who's gonna stop Ibra (and Pato if he's fit) lol? Juan is out of form, Mexes is gone and the rest aren't exactly top class defenders.

This is over already. If they even get close to scoring it's gonna be from a set piece of some kind.

My guess:

3-1 if Pato and Ibra plays:thumbsup:.
2-1 without Pato:thumbsdown:.

(I expect Totti to pull one out of his ass and score against us, from a penalty or a free kick)

I expect a better performance than today's. We'll have Van Bommel back, who gives us a great dynamic starting attacking movements. He's a very good passer and should give quality to prevent the team to rely on long balls.

I also hope Gattuso to return, since he's a big game player, just like Seedorf.

Pato will also be very, very important. The only thing I don't know is if Allegri should play Ibrahimovic instead of Robinho. Binho is playing well despite being too wasteful. Zlatan is going through a bad moment, but he's one that could win a match by himself.

Abbiati; Abate, Nesta, Silva, Zambrotta; Gattuso, Van Bommel, Seedorf; Boateng; Pato, Ibrahimovic or Robinho.

Scudetto, here we come.

Dont think Allegri is gonna risk starting Pato from the first minute.
Scudetto is in our hands and even if we lose or draw this game it wont be a tragedy. We have a bigger game to play against Palermo in Coppa so Allegri will rest Pato.

I think Allegri will start with this formation:

Ibra + Robinho in the attack.

Van Bommel, Ambrosini, Seedorf, Boateng in the midfield.

Zambrotta, Nesta, T. Silva, Abate in the defence.

I would love for us to set the record for most members online for the Roma match. Anyone know what the record is on this forum?

Spare Pato for Palermo...

I really think that Allegri should start IBRA-ROBINHO....

It would cause almost as much damage, and as you said "spare Pato for Palermo." I really hope we win the scudetto this weekend so that we can fully focus on the Palermo game and use a full line-up with nothing else on our minds (besides the scudetto after-party on Saturday night;))

Look, this will not be easy, no doubt about it. Our last win at the Olimpico was in season 04/05 (Crespo and Pirlo penalty). Then we had 2 wins and 3 draws.

Roma is 6th at the table with 59 points, with Lazio in 4th (60 points) and Udinese in 5th (59 points) above them. Now Lazio and Udinese will face each other next week. Roma knows that a win for them vs Milan and a favorable result at the Friuli might take them to the 4th spot and land them that holy grail of qualifying for UCL next season. So they will be so fired up.

If our players will go to the field thinking "well, let's just save our energy for the Copa game vs Palermo then win it at the San Siro vs Cagliari in front of our fans", then there's no use playing for this game. Let's just field the whole Primavera team and let them notch senior team appearances. Another display of relax attitude like after Flamini goal will be monstrosity and total embarassment.

I hope this acidic stance will not be the attitude of our team. WE CAN STILL LOSE THE SCUDETTO. Ambrosini said they will be idiots if Milan were to lose the scudetto, so let's show some guts and spirit. Win this and worry about the Copa later.

Many were (correctly) thinking that Copa is also important but let's just take one game at a time. Field the best team vs Roma. If we win this game, don't you think the players will be more fired up to win the Copa game because they know the double is within reach? They will give more push and dig from their reserve to somehow find the energy to do it.

Remember 02/03 season? Milan just won the CL Final vs Juve and few days later we had to face Roma in the 2nd leg of the Copa Italia final at the San Siro. The players were definitely exhausted but that didn't stop the likes of Nesta, Maldini, Kaladze, Gattuso, Seedorf, Rui Costa and Inzaghi (all played in the Manchester game) to give another fine performance. They wanted the cup double and wanted to win in front of the home fans. I didn't see any sign of tiredness from the players mentioned above. That's guts, that's spirit, that's Milan!

We had van Bommel and Ibra back, this would be a big boost since both Robinho and Cassano are too similar and prefer to create chance from outside the box and would have no one inside the box.

Abbiati
Abate, Nesta, T. Silva, Zambrotta
Flamini, Seedorf, van Bommel, Boateng
Robinho, Ibra

What's the status of Gattuso? Is he fit, if yes then he should be in for Flamini.

I'd wished Vincenzo Montella would have never heard of Leonardo's will to do them a favor in maintaining Scudetto race for those Merda. :fp:

So far in this season we never lost twice to same opponent, CMIIW. So i'm sure we will get a draw at least.

So Scudetto here we come!!!

Cant really see us losing this at all, a draw will be enough, just so long as we get the one point and Galliani announces who he has signed!!!

also can see Inter losing their next 2 games which could be enough to kick them out of UCL, they have Fiorentina at Home and Napoli away

Roma, who already beat us at the San Siro, need the three points much more than we do. We have three games to get one point and win the Scudetto - and preferably to most - it can be done at home the game after.

Italy needs Roma to get the fourth spot to avoid Udinese and Lazio embarassing Italy again in CL. Roma has a better chance because they will be investing this summer thanks to their new owner. If Juve beat Lazio tomorrow, Roma will be within one point from Lazio. Race for fourth is going to be sooooo hot in the last few weeks, and Roma have more than a capable team to beat us. We've been winning the last few games - true - however we haven't been as impressive as we used to be.

Point is, let's not celebrate as if we've already gotten our point for the Scudetto.... and if and when we lose, let's not make a big deal and put ourselves under pressure. I can't forget how Inter messed it up in 2002 on the last day...

Anyway, I think even if Milan lose their next two games, we will still be celebrating at home next game because Inter will not beat Napoli at the San Paolo - infact Napoli will thrash Inter 3-0, just my gut feeling!

They're out of Perrotta, De Rossi and Mexes. Still it's never easy to play against Roma in Stadio Olimpico and they always give great performances against us and Lazio no matter how shitty they've been for the most of the season. I don't see us losing though. But we will have to struggle hard to win.

The lineup I would like to see:

Abbiati
Abate - Nesta - Silva - Zambro
Gattuso/Ambro - Van Bommel - Seedorf
Boateng
Zlatko - Pato

At the moment I think we should play with Binho and only one of Zlatko and Pato against Palermo in the Coppa since Binho-Pato and Binho-Zlatko has looked a lot better than Pato-Ibra. But that might've changed now so letting Zlatko and Pato to start against Roma will be good to prepare them for the more important Coppa game and also to see if they've learned to cooperate on the same level Binho has with them. If they do it surprisingly good then they should both start.

I still prefer Ambro or Gattuso over Flams. He is just not disciplined enough for a midfielder even though the goal against Bologna was great.

Right, the players won't celebrate after the Roma match even if it's done mathematically. They'll have to focus on Palermo right after so no celebrations for now.
I'm sure the big celebration will be on the day of Milan-Cagliari, most likely after the match I guess and hope so. Between Roma and Cagliari matches we don't have time to make a party, the official Scudetto celebrations should be on the day of our last home match.

I'm happy to be at the last home match, hopefully we celebrate on that day, it will be an epic experience then. I'm also in Milano a few days, from saturday to tuesday and being there at the Scudetto party will be awesome.

To all of you who want Milan to lose points against Roma, you are idiots, sorry but that's true. We will celebrate the Scudetto at home even if we win it in Rome. The celebrations will be held in Milano on the day of our last home match, I'm sure about that. Milan will want to celebrate in San Siro and not in Rome.

I dont give a shit about the rest of Italy, we are bigger than all of them, lets claim this win and the scudetto. Roma have already ruined Italy in UCL this year, we dont need them again, Juventus would be my preferred option to claim the final UCL spot
