Is Chuck really this fucking broke that he still has to take fights? He retired way too late the first time when he was visibly brain damaged. Now he seems much better and he'll fuck it up again :fp:

But then again, if he was smart, he wouldn't be a fighter.

The lifestyle catches up with you. I remember in his autobiography he said he was banging 2 strippers right before his fight with Vernon White.

This was pretty bad for Blaydes. Ngannou himself has been exposed and is working himself back up. Blaydes was on a run and had some hype with him right before this, this definitely sets him back, and honestly, Blaydes has a pretty favorable style to beat Ngannou

Tito is somewhat active, though his matches have largely been freakshows.

Liddell was already in really really bad shape before he left. This wasn't all that surprising, I really think Liddell should not fight anymore and hope the Commissions do their job and do not allow this to happen again.

No point to try to compete with Wilder & Fury so they have this TUF event and that lame Fight night.

Toronto is going to be lit though. War Holloway - an actually fucking exciting WMMA fight. You got to super heavy hitters in Manuwa and Santos on a path to beat their brains out, Cowboy Oliveira is probably going to be fun and we may get to see Rakic set another record in LHW.

UFC 232 is much watch due to Jones vs Gustafson anyway. It's not that bad tbh.

Fantastic fight, I was afraid the skill difference would make this one sided but both brought exactly what was expected.

I agree Fury should've won clearly but whatever, fight was still very entertaining.

honestly ufc is quite corrupt too but I still want to watch it. Don't kmow why. Passion I guess. Usually decisions particularly split ones tend to be dubious in general. Also the stoppages for tko at times.

For the most part I watch fights on mute and bias aside I usually agree with most decisions.

that's true. match making is messed up. Hendricks vs gsp decision I do not agree with for example. Diaz vs connah 2 Is another one. masvidal vs iaquinta was a horrible decision.

There are so many bad decisions, it is unfortunately part of fighting sport. Idk if it's just in recent times or it just appears like that because I've followed it closer in recent years but it's fucking bad. Also referees favoring certain fighters(like Conor not getting anything for his repeated cheating) or general incompetence(so many nutshots and eyepokes).

100% agree^. plus the tyron woodley vs till fight where tyron literally raped till looked suspect too. They clearly wanted till to win. Trying to break the fight up when twood was in a good position to hulk smash him. just sick of all the rubbish decisions. Maia was in a good position to get a choke on usman too and they let that slide.

Didn't watch Masvidal vs. Iaquinta.

Hendricks vs. GSP was bad, I agree with you. There was the obvious "to be the champ, you HAVE TO BEAT the champ" bias I feel. Hendricks did enough to justify a win but under the flawed rounds system, I thought it was bad but not highway robbery.

Same with Diaz Conner 2. If you want to see a TRUE high way robbery, goggle "Ninja vs. Rampage". There were some bad one's before in the UFC, but again, I don't think is a systematic thing unless Dr. Cecil People's is judging :lol:

Max is the absolute G.O.A.T of FW. That first half of the third round got me worried a bit, but Max is just too awesome.

Ended up falling asleep after 2 rounds of Joanna vs. Valentina and didn't wake up until there was like 2 minutes left in the 4th round :fp:

Didn't really think Ortega had a chance, but good performance by Halloway.

Well he did put up a decent fight. Plus he is big for the division as well, his arms looked a good way bigger than Max's.

On top of it all he had a good run, was undefeated etc.

Holloways TD defense and ability to pop back up is awesome, i feel really bad for him that the questioning of his health and what was wrong with him for months on end, the dude is cutting weight and just kinda ugly, something of nothing i feel

Also Max performance was absurd. Untouchable - guy fights so cocky but gets away with it because he's so fucking quick. What an amazing and entertaining fight style.
