Even loaning Niang another season and keeping Bacca would have been better. No need to spend on Kalinic and get a LW with that money if we'd done that. Bacca had a bad season before yeah, and his attitude was poor, but his first with a substantially worse squad carried us.

Gattuso would know how to deal with Bacca's attitude I think and could get a lot out of him.

Of course they have problems

But there's such a thing as role players...and right now we TOTALLY lack players with these qualities

Bacca - almost world class at finishing
Niang - pace and stamina to burn and can get past his marker

Again, not that these guys are the best or even that great....but their absence hurts more than their bullshit.

See they should have been destroyed by bayern yesterday.. This real madrid team is something else, they always win somehow even when they are mostly dogshit. But am starting to believe that liverpool actually can beat them in that final.

Can't disagree with any of that, but its a fine line between luck and grit to push trough situations like that.

It seems to me that Real weren't even trying.
Bayern were for sure but Real barely got out of third gear.
The formation itself and the lineup seemed rather conservative.
If Real were to really go for it, as I suspect they will in Madrid, it could get ugly for Bayern....if they aren't pressing them to the limit. Bayern NEED Robben to be fit and flying.

Also how fuckin good is James Rodriguez? It is painful to real some of the n00b posters talk shit about the guy...he'd TEAR Italy apart.
