Iturbe has the advantage of knowing Italian football a bit already, and he's great at bringing the ball from the midfield to the top of the box which is good for packed defenses.

Griezmann seems to like to operate as more of an advanced winger, like further up the pitch than the strikers most the time and he exploits space very well. But there isn't a lot of space in Italian football between the keeper and the defense. He also doesn't know calcio yet, so there would be an adjustment period.

If its gonna cost 33M for Iturbe give me Cerci for 17 + a good midfielder. Price is getting ridiculous. And I love Iturbe. But if Kroos is going for 25 what Verona is asking for is pretty absurd.

Serge Aurier vs Sime Vrsaljko

Very interesting prospects these two. Both very similar in their attacking style as well as their defending. However, Aurier is better in the final third, his crosses are more accurate and hes more of a goal threat between the two. Physically as well, Aurier wins over the skinny built Vrsaljko but I think the Croatian is a more versatile fullback. Aurier can play at CB but he is naturally a RB and dominant down the flank. Personally, as we are to replace Abate, Id go for Aurier but he may prove more expensive of the two.

It would be an upgrade to have either replace Abate. Only thing is that then DES would have to play on the left, which I think suits him better. Maybe later in his career he can pull a Lahm and come to play in the heart of the midfield lol.
