Speaking of group E - What they happened between Roy Keane and McCarthy. I know Keane got all pissed of at him and decided to go home, but who said what? It must have been pretty bad if the rest of the team doesn't want Keane to come back. For the most part he is their team, with out him their hopes for the second round doesn't look very good. Especially facing Germany and Cameroon.

I bet Serbian was happy with the news. Now Germany has a shot to actually get out of the group.

Just kidding.

well... briefly:
1st keane got pissed off on GK coach (no reason) and wanted to go home. than he changed his mind and decided to stay.
2nd keane made an interview with some newspapers saying 'bad' things about players and coach
3rd keane invited to a meeting with rest of the squad to 'clear the air'
4th on that meeting he yells at coach calling him a "wenker", a "crap coach" and a "crap person"
5th keane arrives to ireland

thanks scharatz - What is he thinking? So what if you think the coach is a wanker, I would imagine most of them are. I know most of my coaches were. I would understand going home if you are in a youth league and get pissed off and loose your cool, but when you are a professional and work your entire life for something as big as the world cup and to throw it all away. It just seams, well dumb. :conf:

I don`t hate Saudi Arabian football, they`ve done pretty well in 94.
all I can feel about the whole thing is sympthy 4 Saudis.
I think (F i wasn`t wrong ) that Iran was out of WC bcoz of Bahrain, i remember i`ve seen dat on a TV program on how they get 2 the WC.
actually , the Saudis sounded like big headed kind of guys b4 playing against Germany , eventhough there`s a huge gab between the Germans & them.

That game had too much political meaning so the government had to fix the game...

Please dont ask me how i know or more information, i get really upset each time i think about it. and dont tell me i only say it was fixed because i am Iranian. I know im right, i have my sources and the Iraninan president himself said "The game was a threat against Islam".. what the hell does that mean??? The Germans are beginning on fire in their first match. Germany was solid on all side.

I have been paying attention on the 2 ex-Milanista were played that match. Ziege had done pretty well in the left side on his effort to give impressive assist to those forwards, either Klose (made hat-trik) or Jancker. Ballack as a playmaker in his role, played good as well.

Another ex-Milanista, ex-German Captain, and ex-Cappocanoniere, Bierhoff was strike from out of midfield with firing a low shot from 25 metres. He is still showing he could do something in this WC.

Schneider's freekick behind the wall showed that the keeper should have done better.

Some of you guys could say it's like a training not a match but Saudi was playing 'out of criteria of team should play'. Germany was solid.
