Hard to belive that.

Beacuse, he in milan allways play in left side + in czech republic he play allways in left side. And i have seen him playing in udinese and i have never seen him playing in right side.

1st leg will play on 8/9 August and second leg will play on 22/23 August.

When he first came...Carlo had plans to use him on the right but because of his injury problems it never worked out. Well they might try it now....

IIRC Ancelotti *hopes* to have Nesta available for the 2nd leg of the preliminaries, no idea about the other 2.

I thought Nesta was in real trouble. I don't think we should rush him back. Recurring injuries is the sign of a big problem.

Although I'm sure the Milan doctors would know a little bit more than me.

I thought Nesta just suffers from that groin strain... And what I wrote was according to Ancelotti.

No idea what's wrong with Kaladze, Milan are always so fuckin cagey about injuries... Maldini... my guess is he's still recuperating from the 'career-saving' knee surgery he had sometime in April.

Maldini is still recovering from that surgery? Wow.

It would be nice to get Nesta back for the 2nd leg, but those groing injuries can be tough to shake. And they can get worse if they are not allowed to heal the proper amount of time.

Just a guess. Remember, he went to Antwerp for an examination of his knee + next thing we got to know via the official site was that he had surgery ~ unplanned ~ so I guess the prob must have been serious.

Oh thats right. Hmm. Well hopefully his is relatively close to coming back. And not in Michael Owens situation where he needs like 8 months to recover...

with Favalli playin' in the center durin' the recent trainin' sessions... i wouldn't be surprised if he partners either Costacurta or Simic in the center for the game against winner of Cork City/Red Star... we could still field Brocchi as RB... with either Janku or Serginho as LB...

So there would be no NESTA and MALDINI in the middle of the back line.

So, KALADZE have to play with either FAVALLI or SIMIC in the middle of backline.

I would prefer the following backline for us:

CAFU SIMIC KALADZE SERGINHO
