Jesus. We're not talking about getting a better winger. We are talking about his current disability to play in defence. It's not like you can learn things like that when you're 21. It's not that easy. Jesus.:fp:
What's more, professional football now is all about perfection. Milan could use Huntelaar as RW for years, but they refused to, because it would be a waste of his potential, while other players could do better in there. Same goes to Ljajic.
You wrote one more bullshit in your post:
You can't compare Robben and Ribery with SES and Ljajic. Bayern wingers have been versatile since the very beggining. It wasn't hard to make them change positions while they were doing it for years.
SES and Ljajic on the other hand... It's like you'd like to compare Pato/Ronaldinho with SES and Niang on the wings. Totally different players.

I kinda agree with you. Not only on this post but in the others as well.

Yes Ljajic can play with El Shaarawy + Balo upfront. But what about our midfield? Who's going to play there?
Monto - De Jong - Honda? We're going to get overrun by every team in CL, and most of the Serie A. Not to mention our weak defence. We'd be murdered by teams with good attackers.

Monto - De Jong - Honda

Ljajic - Balo - El Shaarawy

fuuuuck don't show that pic to galliani
watch our transfer strategy change now and we'll go in for kaka again

Yeah, that'd suck, but he could also try to bring Maldini back which would be awesome :)

You buy Ljajic because he wants to come here, is a hugely talented young player and because Milan has to plan for more than one season. You become a good team by signing good players. A midfield of Monto, De Jong and Boa could support a front line of SES, Balo and Ljajic. Balo and SES are also responsible defensively. A 4-2-3-1 could also work. If we are set on 4-3-1-2 it never hurts to have talented players coming off the bench. Did you see the Man City squad that beat us? Chelsea? Bayern? Yes, they all have much more spending power but they use it to add depth to their squads. You try not to pass up good deals.

I still believe the D should be shored up. If these signings push Boa back into the midfield then that is a big advantage as well.

Honestly

The signings of Honda and Llajic would make 4-2-3-1 the most ideal formation for this team

Balotelli

El Shaarawy - Honda - Llajic

Montolivo - De Jong

De Sciglio - Zapata - Mexes - Abate

Abbiati

Almost every player in that formation is comfortable on the ball and De Jong and Montolivo are more than enough to protect the backline. Not to mention their deep lying playmaking ability will come in very handy in supporting the attack. Only thing that needs to be worked on is making sure Llajic helps out in defense but a 4-2-3-1 will also be ideal for an overlapping winger/FB tactic. The key part of the formation is that the ball will be always on the move....

That is potentially a scudetto winning/challenging starting eleven. Depth is a whole different issue though....

Im watching the game too cause I bet Lyon will win.

Kone's also very good (#4). That's why Umtiti plays as LB now.

There was no chance we got Umtiti.

The rumours started after his incredible goal vs Tottenham and dried up shortly afterwards.

I think we should face the facts and accept that there will be no :star: CB coming.

Our backline reinforcement ended with Silvestre.
