Saw this one. It's very good. Flavio Briatore comes off as a world class moron.

Yes, partly owned it seems. The Formula 1 guy. I wonder how on earth did he manage Benetton F1. Would've been a good documentary.

The best I have ever seen. Been watching it for almost two years, now. It has got four seasons, the fourth just started airing.

Just watched Heart of Darkness for the first time, can definetly recomend it to anyone who's just remotely interested in filmmaking. It follows the shooting of Apocalypse now, and is mostly shot by F.F Coppola's wife, including footage that Francis didn't even know was being shot. It's cool because it also helps you understand how it became such a great film, and why it looks so great even today.

Must see! Gonna read the book now

It's been quite a time I want to watch this documentary... I need to.

Conrad's book is one of my favourites. A master piece.

It's interesting to figure how Coppola adapted most of Conrad's issues to a totally different time/enviroment. You read the book and kinda think it's impossible to film it. It's very subjective - all about the storyteller thoughts and feelings... Yet Coppola does it and it's brilliant.

Another gem from 30 for 30 worthy of big screen

It's obvious the director served it towards Ben Johnson and Carl was a bit of the villain. But not like Prost was in Senna movie. Still I'm all for teamBenJohnson. Carl was such a douche. Spiking a drink? My bet is that it happened.

Moral champion is obviously Calvin Smith. Just look at the answers about sympathy. Was Robson also a clean dude? He seemed like it but looked like his answers to big questions didn't make the cut.

Nah, Changeling was about a different case in the early 1900 IIRC.

do they have an interview with the Frederic Bourdin?
would love hear his "side" of the story.

I find it amazing how people can behave in such a manner.

------
I'm trying to find a documentary on pathological liars if you know of any please let me know.

the reason is I know this guy who is a pathological liar, he will lie about anything and everything. he will lie to you about what he had for breakfast even if you had breakfast with him.
but the weird thing is if you accept or don't take note of his lies he will push it to ridicules lengths.
the guy will even lie for and about you.
he even tries to include other people in the lie and in a way try to use social pressure to get you to validate the lie.

Yeah, he explains his side. Basically
Spoiler:
mother had no love for him since his grandfather was a racist and he's dad was an arab. He learned to never care about anyone else and says he was very selfish. Obviously he had different feelings to if to pull it off and explains how he tried to run away once and contemplated about it several times. He also plays the murder card on the family something like look at these people - they must be worse than me.

Reading the article it looked like the family was worse. But in the film the family came out pretty good.

Before my time ,but he's performing on Saturday(1st of 4 shows) and I'll be working it. Response has been pretty insane. Organizers had to add an additional shows due to the demand. The movie seems to have drawn the younger generation too.
