Some good things w/ the match:
Caldara – Romagnoli partnership getting their first connections
Bakayoko positive – hopefully he can adapt to Serie A & Gattuso’s system
Castillejo looks lively
Higuain already carrying us, and we’re in September
Laxalt is a very good LB. We have now 2 good LBs at our disposal.

Samu and Laxalt stepped up later on. Hakan is by far the only creative player on this team, too bad he's experiencing problems against buses. The chemistry with Gonzalo is very nice. Caldara was a bit anxious but overall he'll be fine. I really wanna see Laxalt - Conti full back pair. Calabria as a sub.

huh?? Hakan gave 2 good passes to Gonzalo and tried 2 shots. Thats more than half of the team has done in the whole game

Good result, crap performance.

Should’ve won 3-4 nil in the end

Reina - 6, had nothing to do all game
Abate - 6, solid defensively. Got forward to help
Caldara - 7, really good game, should’ve scored also
Romagnoli - 8, reads the play beautifully
Laxalt - 7, I thought he was really good
Bakayoko- 7, very good game, our player best until HT
Mauri - 5.5, makes himself available. Did some nice things.
Bertolacci - 3, seriously invisible majority of the time he was on.
Castillejo - 8.5, Man of the match without a doubt, should’ve had 3 assists
Higuain - 7, should’ve had a hat trick
Borini - 4, worked hard and that’s it. Missed an absolute sitter which is the norm for him.

I liked the change to 4-4-2 when Hakan entered.

This is the second match we changed to this system and its good to have options.

Problem is we lack forwards. After Higuain and Cutrone quality drops drastically.
