Zebina set for Milan swap Monday 20 February, 2006

Juventus plan to swap Jonathan Zebina with Milan’s Massimo Ambrosini, according to reports.

The French defender is set to leave the Stadio Delle Alpi in the summer and the Rossoneri are keen.

Zebina, who has clashed with the Bianconeri after having a pay-rise request rejected, would resolve the San Siro side’s right-back problems given that Marcos Cafu and Jaap Stam are set to quit the outfit.

Whispers in the peninsula claim that Juve are ready to release him to their friendly rivals, but only in return for Ambrosini.

The Italian international is unhappy at his lack of use at Milan recently and may be looking for a change of environment.

Juve are searching for a new central midfielder after also being strongly linked with Simone Barone of Palermo.

It might be true guys, i think this will be a good deal for milan this will surely cure our right back problems.Also when ambrosini does leave this will leave space for m.diarra to join us which i think milan is really considering at the moment. I think this should happen thats my opinion.

why cant we use yanku for RB? heard he can play on the right flank as good as on the left. We should rather GET another RB instead of trading in ambro for zebina... yuk.

I seriously think Diarra is a better player than Ambrosini,im not saying i have anything against him, its that i really think Diarra is the type of player that would b a great addition to our squad and will help us alot.He will b more useful than Ambrosini,but wen ambrosini is fit he is one heck of a player

I wont never change Ambrosini for Zebina , there are a lot of better defenders that we could buy with cash , and Ambrosini is kind of symbol for Milan because he is for so long in our team , but if he decides to leave , I will not forgive him if the next club is Juventus even if two teams agree the deal ..
