I really hope the official website can post the goal scorer of each youth team - they used to have it in the older version of the site. Does anyone know somewhere else we can find the scoring sheets?

Yeahh

I don't like the new site :head:

But maybe i'm just not used to it properly or something

Overall a great result, 7-2 aggregate! Well done boys, great victory yesterday, we're in the semis now. Hopefully we then also get to the final like last season and win it:proud:

I haven't been able to follow the primavera the way I wish I could, but it seems to me that Fossati is having a great year.. He is almost an afterthought for many of us due to the great signings we made over summer for the first XI, but it seems like he is already beginning to live up to his potential with the primavera.

It really would be amazing to see our first team littered with these kids that came up through the ranks. I think Strasser, Verdi, Merkel, and Fossati all have a chance to at least contribute in the future... I think Merkel and Fossati have the most potential out of those four, though. I'm also eager to see how Hottor performs in the next few years.

Verdi is also very good. He is one of Italy's top talents, I can't wait to see some of these primavera boys playing some minutes in the first team. I would LOVE to see Fossati play n/h

very true..i can't wait for more of our youngsters to start getting brought up..mr. allegri looks as if hes not afraid to do so either, which is good for our kids..we have some promising young talent in our youth ranks, which could turn out to be great for us in the long run..

Am also excited to see Carmona and Calvano, whom I see as a heir to Rino's throne. And Strasser of Ambro's... :)

And I do think Verdi needs to work on his physique a lil looks small could get bullied in Serie A

Of course can't expect all of these talents to do well with us some will eventually leave by the age of 22 or so. :head:

Ganz, Beretta, Albertazzi all seem to be promising but only time will tell if we have made right decisions on these kids. :)

Hoping for the best from Uncle Fester and co. and specially from coaching staff, who are very important.

he actually reminds me more of De Rossi rather than Rino but I get your point. really hope this talented kids can really live up to their full potential and some could really flourish with Milan's senior team.

Ya, okay so he is more of a de Rossi kinda player... not bad ;)

And I want Carmona to be our very own Fabregas, not in terms of the position in which he plays but performance and eventually Farca's cnut$ to go mad and start tapping him like Fabregas.;)

I read somewhere that Fossati is playing in a more advanced role... is that true? I thought he was more of a CM.

And has Hottor played? Last year everyone was saying he was the next big thing, and that he has a ton of promise.

I really hope that some of our young players get a first team chance. De Vito really deserves his, our LBs have sucked, so why not give him a chance? Makes no sense not to.

I think some of our players should be loaned (just loaned, no co-ownership) to some of the Serie A teams that are struggling to stay in Serie A. They arent going to develop much more in the Primavera. Albertazzi should play in Bari or Brescia so he gets a chance to play, there are a few of the other players that should get a chance to play with the big boys

This would be great, both for our teams, and the other clubs, but I don't trust our management to loan players without giving co-ownerships out for every fucking single one of them.

i don't think he has been an integral part of the squad so far... Calvano has kinda stolen the limelight from him... honestly, i don't care, as long as one of them develops into a first team players

yeah the co-ownerships drive me nuts. We have a very large first team that is tough to break in to, and we have a lot of good talent in our Primavera now. I would love to see some of these guys go on loan to the bottom 3-4 teams in Serie A that could really use the re-enforcements and where some of our guys could get some good playing time.

Just like I didnt like seeing Darmian go to Palermo, when Bari were also interested. Palermo is much tougher to break into, he could be starting at Bari, which is much better for his development.

I think there are two reasonable reasons why we made those co-ownership deals.

First, teams like Parma, Bari, Bologna and so on depend a lot on the players they can sell. Their biggest financial hope is still to sell players and made profit. Serie A is a great opportunity for business. So they are problably not very interested in field a team full of players they do not own the rigths. This would left then empty-handed by the end of the season, without players and without money. They can made loans only for few very talented players, but in general they can't afford to do that. Co-own deals is a way for those teams to get some money they need at the end of the year while fielding our players, it's a needed policy overall.

Second, we have a lot of players leaving our primavera every year, and a lot more we buy or are coming from youth rankings and they need space there to play. Of course we will not use all those players in the future, the majority will not be used, and will never play in our first team. For every Paloschi and Astori that co-own may not look like a good idea, there is Osuji's and Pedrocchi's that we can made cash while they try to find playing time elsewhere.

I think the only way to stop this trend is to let "B" teams play lower divisions in Italy.

Yes Fossati has been played in a more advanced role by Stroppa lately, he is a creative player so he has no problem in playing more advanced. He sometimes still plays as a CM but just in a little bit advanced role as Stroppa usually put two much more defensive minded midfielder behind him..
It depends on whether Stroppa opted to play 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3..

Hottor is on the bench in a few occasion but still can't really make into the first squad as Calvano seemed to get the nod and he is playing very well in the DM role although he was actually a box to box mid at Atalanta.

Is Fossati good enough defensively to play as a CM in Serie A eventually? He is a very interesting player that I hope is promoted next season

technically he can play in Pirlo's current post.. he can be a me'zalla... he's hard working enough, so he does track back, (he helped De Vito' many times in our awful Super Copa game against Genoa) I think he can eventually play in serie A as CM but he needs to be integrated to the main squad first..the key is getting him to work well with the other players first IMO, that's how you can get good results from youngsters..

yes you could say that, he's a bit like Albertini and also a bit like Aquilani because aside from organizing the mid and controlling the tempo, he also likes to make runs into the box ..
Not saying he is already that good, but he has the potential..needs the right approach to make him fulfill those potential...
