Maggio over Abate at this moment- probably (though next season will be the other way around)

i think id celebrate like a world cup

Does anyone else celebrate twice as hard depending on who scores...

When Prince scored this season id go cheering like he scored in the 90" to win it for us

When Robinho scored, id breathe a sigh of relief

When Pato scores Id go

When ibra scores... i say yay. its expected from him. he raised the bar so high!

Still, while Prandelli has been better than Lippi, its weird that he keeps refusing to call Abate. Like really weird... for FB he has called up Molinaro, De Silvestri, Motta, Santon, Antonelli, Balzaretti, Antonini, Zambro, Criscito, Maggio, Cassani... so he pretty much has been willing to call up any freakin FB in Italy that has a pulse, but he keeps refusing to call up a 24 year old that has a starter and played great on a championship team

Lippi has won a world cup, a champions league, multiple serie A titles

Prandelli once won Serie B.

One earned the right to be stubborn, the other has not.

haha, I've wanted Abate to score all season, too bad he never did! When we played a Copa Italia match and Abate got to play as a winger, Zlatan was really trying to make Abate score.

Goal celebrations are beautiful, so much emotion. :proud:

Next year I think we'll se Abate become better in attack, he is a fantastic defender and if he continues to develop with the same speed he's gonna be WC very soon, I think he's better than Alves in defence already. When be becomes better in attack there's no way they can continue to defend not calling him up for the national team!

As much as I would love to see T. Silva as first captain I just cant see him as it.
I think Abate is going to be captain because he's italian and comes from Milans youth academy.

Come on, when was the last time Milan had a foreign as captain?
Ofcourse some time it has to be the first time but come on.

I still hope I'm wrong and see T.Silva as first captain, but Abate isnt wrong either.

I would say that's a safe assumption..T.33 will be a great captain aswell as abate..

I really think Abate will be it because, well, he's italian and he's from Milan's youth team. When was the last time Milan actually had a first captain who was a foreigner?

Dont get me wrong, I would love T.Silva to be captain and I also want him as captain but I'm being realistic.

the thing is tho

predicting next years cap should the first 4 leave would be a mission

i think itd be tsiilva and abate doing the gattuso/seedorf pos

I think Nesta was captain in 1 match last season. Don't think he started the match as cap, but took the responsibility in the second half in 1 match?
That is why I put him on that list. Maybe my memory is wrong though...

He will be in trouble without rino, i hope we buy vidal or danilo to compliment him..... Kid has got heart but he is still not good enough ... dont compare him with bullshit talent from italy.

But i have high hopes on Tassoti's teachings...

Agree with you on the crossing though at the end of the season he started passing straighter balls to the penalty spot and top of the box which were more effective.

Defensively I think he is about ready. after mid season he was covering for Nesta and looked secure even if Rino wasnt that close. One more year of Nesta, Rino and Tassoti and he will be set.

Offensively he has to work on his shooting and crossing but that may come later in his career or not at all.

I think the aspect of his game that he needs to improve is coming back to defend. In some games, he saved Nesta; however,in some games like against Tottenham and Udinese, he returned to defend as if there was not an issue on the defense. He also can work in 1-2 passing when attacking because he has not the technique to feint inside.
