Its most def thanks to berlu must of us are milan fans and yes, he is the most winning club president of all times but why would he want to ruin this fairy tail in the end? You help build a massive club with millions of fans and a great story. Ruining it now would be just ridiculous.

My biggest gripe with berlu is that there are by the looks of it so many ways for milan to be financially healthy + be competitive in all fronts next year. Obviously not have a squad as complete as chelsea, barca or inter but a a super solid squad that would require a modest investment. I hate how they are trying to show words in the fans mouths about us wanting crazy signatures, massive spending, etc. We dont. A solid investment will do + spot lying all the time.

One of the positives berlu brought to milan with all the winning and the family environment are that theres tons of interest from players as from investors to join the club. Last year there was interest from emirates or whatever for a minority share deal. Why didnt that go trough? Not only would they still be completely in control the financial burden would be gone. Also from that Tacy guy, by the looks of it there was interest all over the place for the club to get a financial injection. Nothing happened. Only whining about the market inflation and how theres absolutely no money came from berlu. If you have no more interest or money for the club than why the fuck not let some help in the club?

Milan has so many options for a bright future. Just right now it looks like someones ego is getting in front of everything. If not that that i dont know what it. Almost every single decision that b&G took over the past few years where down right wrong. From comunicating to to the fans to the player transfers the love fest milan was a few years back is now seemingly completely gone. Milan is a football club. Its not some profit organization people take over so they watch over its health or whatever. Its great we dont have debts like some shitty english clubs so what more do they want from the financial stand point? If they are gonna continue this zero spending policy sooner than later san siro is gonna be emptier and emptier. Team swag sales will drop and TV deals wont go trough. Like some said milan is berlus duty. Even though he made it the most successful club of the last 2 decades that doesn't mean he can now just sit back and watch it crumble.

From the looks of it there are DOZENS of options for milan to not fall in the realm of mediocrity yet absolutely nothing is being done. Galiani is fucking incompetent. This winter he had everything @ his disposal to get pandev yet we ended up with mancini teehee. And now theres that witch whining that the clubs financial situation could be improved even further since she clearly doesnt give a rats ass about the team. Either tell these tards to sort their shit out/fuck off, make a modest investment (again, no crazy spending is needed) make some time for your club, help it become at least CL material or say goodbye, thank you for everything you done and just sell it.

Best post in a long time. Kudos.

Particularly part on Pandev, I brought that up too. Ok money is tight now.... doesn't mean Galliani can't go out and secure some quality deals on the cheap that will make milan more competitive. Pandev to Milan playing RW instead of injured pato. Willing to bet milan are sitting in position to win scudetto (because not getting Pandev would have been huge loss for inter too!)

And for all this doomsday talk, people forget milan are still 3rd. I think most clubs would love there bad period to be defined as a series of 3rd/4th place finishes.

I think the only issue with Pandev was that it was clear he wanted to go to Inter - he stated so himself - so the only way of getting him to refuse them was to offer a lot more money, and we probably couldn't compete with that.

B&G have different plan Obviously; there are somethings behind the scenes that we (as Fans & Medias) do not aware about!

I only hope that B&G are not make any deals to destroy Milan Legacy in paying Debits "as cleaning sheets" for other sides as a part of repaying favorites

The results aren't doomsday material but the attitude of the club sure is. Although result wise in serie we also had alot of luck. If jube and fiore would sort their shit out i doubt wed still be 3rd. By the looks of things jube will spend bigtime as will napoli while viola probably part from vargas wont loose anyone next season. Next year the results could be disastrous aka another EL finish.

Since we let go of pandev which probably is a player that would still kept us in the running for 1st i hope for at least krasic this year since he sounds like a total bargain.

Also i cant understand how they dont see this as a great opportunity to rebuild with a solid investment. We have almost no debt and there are many great players who want milan going for what cant possibly be crazy money. Before anto went out vs manure we were doing well in CL also. 25mil wont do shit but at least a solid player like krasic 4 attack, hernanes for MF and lets say van der wiel for FB would do wonders. + a bunch solid non pensioner bench warmers would be great. They know the fans will stop coming to the stadium if milan crumble to mediocrity. I dont get whether its about pride or berlu really is so buthurt over the inflated prices but hey, who sold kaka for 60mil in the first place:rolleyes:. All i know is the arrogance from this club of the last years is disgusting.

The most logical answer is silvio is preparing to sell. You try to get debt to ZERO when you sell....

The second is, his daughter is threatening to ruin his life (with god knows how many cover ups finivest has prob done) IF he doesn't stop spending her inheritance

Silvio is addicted to glamour and clearly loves milan, has always spent and not cared too much. Something is up

Couldn't have put it better. I guess this sums up how most Milan fans feel.

Pandev is one example, but pick of the crop for me has to be Sneijder ... Real MERDA wanted Kaka'. Surely we were in a good position to pick from the players they were going to sell. Once again, a lack of a plan really takes the spotlight.

If the management had put in as much as two minutes of thought into it ...

... lets see, we're selling Kaka'; Dinho hasn't been in top form for 3 years; Clarence getting really old; Pirlo having average seasons for sometime now; fucked up with Gourcuff ...

... then surely we should have had him as a Milan player. Maybe it was wages, I don't know. But MERDA getting Sneijder off Madrid, while we get Huntelaar is a complete travesty.

I honestly don't mind Berlusconi, it's his money not ours. He wants the club to function by itself now. He's a politician so he can't go spend crazy money on his football club, also he has some family issues... they don't want him to spend.

To make a long story short, the real problem lies in Galliani and Leotardo. Galliani is an idiot who makes shitty buys, gives crappy extensions with huge wages. He fucked the club, 5 years ago we had the best squad in Europe, how he managed to destroy that I'll never know. We were fucking European Champions for God's sake and our only summer signing was Emerson! (Pato was ineligible till Jan.). Sheva, Kaka, Rui Costa, Gourcuff, Cafu, Stam all left without us getting any replacements. If you look at our squad right now, fucking ********. And who do we sign for next season? Yepes ftw! Play him along side Gooch and you have the worst backline in history of Milan. Our defenders now make Rocky Jonuir look good...

As for Leo, when you look at the squad you think he's doing a great job, but when you watch the games you know that he's clueless. Very naive tactically and doesn't have the potential to be a good manager. He was a good scout, he knows how to spot talent, but he can't coach the team for shit. He's flaws are exposed against good managers (Jose, Fergie). He's a nice guy though... thank God he's leaving anyway.

Agree with this. Wouldn't necessarily say he's clueless, but certainly naïve tactically.

He's a first year manager, so inexperience tactically is to be expected. What he lacks in tactical ability, however, he makes up for in his ability to motivate the squad. THAT is the reason we are in third, and we will not have that motivation once he leaves.

Great admirer of Milan and their brand of attacking football from late 80's although I dont support them..

this is one thread that provoked me to join this board...Getting back to this topic, Berlusconi has already abandoned the team after '99. Milan as a whole were punching above their weights since then, lucky with the CL wins but it has finally taken the toll.

So wrong...

Between 2002 and 2007 Milan was maybe the best team in the world, with a massive investment from Berlu buying the likes of Nesta, Stam, Rui Costa, Inzaghi... And also they made very smart transfers, like Kaká, Pirlo, Seedorf, Cafú...

If you think 3 UCL finals in five years are just lucky, you must be blind.

He got in some players, but it wasnt Berlu's way of doing things. The three CL finals were built around the midfield of Gattuso , Pirlo and Seedorf the latter two rejects from big clubs but some how managed to find second life at Milan. Nobody expected this midfield to click as much as they did at Milan.

Milan continued with the same trick with Rivaldo, Goofy Ronaldo and Ronaldinho -its all about awarding fat contracts to rejects from big clubs for low transfer fees but without much success. The only high profile signings Milan made in last decade were Gilardino and Nesta, yet compared to the 90's the money invested by Berlu was peanuts ...the team he built after the departure of Sacchi.

Also Shevcheko/Pirlo had the same level of stature as much as Huntelaar/Flamini by the time they were signed, but Milans luck did not work out this time. and overall they deserved to win the 2002/03 CL but were very lucky to reach the other two finals.

Berlu's transfer policy through out this decade has been clear, its all about trying to get hold of young footballers only if they are available at a nominal price, or go for rejects from big clubs and poaching from clubs that goes bankrupt.
